although i do hate the pollution before but i think that the government has controlled or minimized a lot of the pollution in the city although it is not yet totally eradicated. i am not saying that the present government is the one who accomplished that. but i think it was the effort of each president we had before and of course being continued with the help of the present president. i don't have ot close my nose that too often. before the pollution was too bad when i was young. anyways, i love seeing the buildings every time i go out specially at night time.

Seeing those high rise building could really be breath taking also. They are by themselves , a sight to behold too, just like those mountains that are too. And it's nice to be in the city , if your intention if to be just there for a week or two. But to live there a long time, i prefer the countryside or the province.

I like the city. I have lived in the city and I have lived in a Suburban Neighbourhood and I gotta say, I like the Suburban Neighbourhood more than the city. I like the buildings and life in the city but in my neighbourhood it was nice and calm. There was barely any pollution and no traffic. It was heaven. But when i went back to the city, it was like I was home. the air was different and everyone was active. But after driving around for an hour, I knew i didn't belong there.

I always prefer living in the countryside where the air is still unpolluted. I love the clean air and the greenery that surrounds my house. But I have to move to my new home which is in the heart of a busy city and would have to accommodate myself with the living condition as city dwellers. The level of pollution is not too bad yet in my place and I hope it will maintain that way for a long time to come.

Despite the pollution, living in the city is a lot better to me, too. There are lots of opportunities in the city. I can do a lot of things like shopping, hanging out and stuff like that. One thing for sure that we have to bear in mind is that we really have to be loaded. If we have a lot of money, we can have almost everything we need. Imagine living in the city while we are penniless. All bright things turn into dimly lit situation. I mean, the city will look terrible to us because we have no money. If we have more than enough money, the city is our choice.

I likewise have the same feeling with you. I also enjoyed living in the city but working in the city is not for me.

I do like the idea of a nice little country cottage but I really would like to be in the city walking distance to everything, this way I think I could be self sufficent without having to rely on my car.

Usually, City life is so fast that sometimes we don't even get time to think what we are doing and why. Is money and job everything. And it becomes too late when we come to realize this. This is why I like small and peaceful towns. But its my bad luck that am also stuck in a city and going for a bigger one for job in future. Well, what to say, we don't always get what we want. I think the craze of big buildings and beautiful lights doesn't last more. Like we fancy snowy mountains and cities but only inhabitants of those places know the difficulties they have to face due to snow and cold. Anyways, Enjoy your stay in city and try to keep it clean and pollution free. Goodluck.

I like looking at the lights on the buildings at night as well. There are definitely advantages to living in the city. For instance, when it snows or rains hard, etc., it's a lot easier & faster & more convenient to go grocery shopping if you live in the city. In a way, though, I would still prefer to live out in the country. I enjoy taking pictures & there are so many beautiful things out in the country, like wildflowers, old barns, animals, etc. And I think that pollution wouldn't be as much of a problem...

I have lived in both places - large cities and also quiet country villages. At the moment I am living in a small market town. My preference is for my current location. The local shops are perfectly adequate for our requirements and we are on the edge of open countryside. I like walking so this suits me down to the ground.
