Why we open our eyes but we feel lazy to go out of bed?

It has always been interesting to me why most people need so much time to crow out of bed. Most of my friends have told me that they know they need to hurry because of work or so and again they stay in bed till the last minute possible and then run like mad to go to their work places. What kind of person you are? Do you go out of bed easy?

When I know that I have to do something, that is when the moment my eyes open I am out of bed. But when I know there is absolutely NOTHING to do, i literally can not move out of bed. I keep snoozing my alarm every 5 minutes, and the 5 minutes turn into hours. Its insane at times because I regret after I get up, I think why did not wake up and do this and that, wasted so much time in the bed. Its not even a proper sleep, because every 5 minutes the alarm goes TARRRRR TARRRRR in my head.. yet I can not move out of the bed!!
Hehe, its just so cozy!!!

I am the kind of person who easily get out of bed. Maybe perhaps this is because of my work before. I used to work with a rescue unit so during duties days, we can actually sleep in our quarters when there is no alarm. But once an alarm sounds of, then we have to get out of bed right away to respond. Well, until now, I have carried such habit. When I wake up, I get out of bed and usually I find it easy. I also noted that if I wake up and stay in bed, I feel tired and sleepy once again. So when I wake up, I make it a point to just get out of bed and start sipping my coffee to give me a boost.

I think that because it does take a lot less effort to open our eyes than it is to climb out of beds. There are times where I am in bed, I'm awake, but I have to coach myself out of bed a lot of the time. That bed can get very comfortable. Especially when it is a cold day, and I am under some warm covers. Trust me, when the alternative is going out into the cold, it is very hard to really get out of bed.
So yeah, it is going to take some time to get myself out of bed. To really coax myself right out of bed, to really try and give me peace of mind to say the very least. There are just many times where I'd sooner stay in bed for the entire day, under the warm covers, rather than going out into the cold world. Still there are just going to be a lot of times where we have to, even if we don't want to.
