facebook make problem in my office

i dont know where i must start for making the discussion...
because the case happens 2 days ago(i mean peak of the problem)
but the root of this case had happened before new year eve...
so maybe i must start from the root...
i dont know exactly when the conflict happen, but i believe there are misscomunication between some of the student in my office(my office is campus)
it must be started from both of people who had insulted from message in cellphone and using facebook..
one of them maybe insult one of them..and of course there are replied from one party..and the conflict getting stronger and wider after several people (consist of two groups) participate in the conflict and make crowded in the wall facebook..
i dont know why but now i feel that facebook always make trouble for a student which can`t controlled their emotions..
and the peak of the conflict happens two days when mother of one student come to campus and search their opponent and bring some bodyguard..and one of student was hit by several of body guard..
as lecturer, we never expect that the parents can`t controlled the situation and let their body guard make riot in the campus..
for me, facebook always make trouble if their user can`t control their mouth, can`t controlled their emotions..

That is very true. I have seen alot of nasty comments in Facebook. I hardly ever go there because of it.

muscles, in the case that i told you, i dont know exactly why our student will insult each other and using facebook for it..
it will make us shy..and i dont know the situation maybe will be worst if the newspaper bring the case in their headline..thats not good news i think

Do not blame anything on something that can't defend itself. What if those messages are not exchanged on FB but in SMS through cellphones? What if those exchanges are in written form via letters? Facebook and many other things are merely a platform for communication. IF there are people who decides to abuse them, it's not their fault for being the provider. Parents should keep a proper eye on their children and teachers should be one safeguarding the school premises instead of letting things get out of hand. IF teachers can't even make peace within their own area, how do they impose their authority to students?

you did not read carefully my case..
the case is, starting from their comment in one of student wall..
and then the case is more crowded..and the situation is not going in campus area..thats in facebook area..
but when one people give challenge and solve the situation, both of them decided for solving in campus area, and the conflict occurs in campus..
so do you blame us ??

i dont think the problem is because of facebook. What students say to each other facebook is not responsible. Its the responsibility of the facebook users. Facebook is a better way to emphaze and has a better reach that why students tend to communicate through facebook rather than face to face

yes i know..even my office is not responsible and no one can blame us even the conflict happens in our environment.
but now i always believe many of students can`t control their emotions and the fact many of the bad things happen in the public place and make trouble for party which did not know the root of problems

Facebook can be used for alot of trouble...cellphones and texting too. I think that it is very easy for mischievous people to cause problems on there. There is enough of the he said she said stuff that goes on without having another place to go and hunt it.

yes you are right..i dont know about the root of problem actually..is it because of love, so they insult each other or about what..
but i think all of the people in the circle of this problem(like i tell in this discussion) is immature and never use their brain for it
