Looking for computer/internet recommendations for my 10 year old friend. What are the coolest, most interesting, and least consumerist activities, websites, and other digital/virtual things that I can introduce this kid to? What did you like to do with computers / the internet when you were that age?

i think ipod is nice, laptop is heavy and not so good to have it for you when you go out, or around, ipod is nice and faster pc, so its more useful and also not pricey as other items, and chose a good brand, thats my opinion, though i asked people here but one respond about the what is good ipod ipad or nook, so good luck for you and hope you get an answer to have the good laptop or net
