As we know that Vincent Kompany been red carded when Manchester United reduced Man City to ten men in their FA Cup third round match. This definitely big loss for City and they lost 2-3 to United at home. Even they almost made dramatic come back with 10 man players still dominated second half. But finally they still the loser in this game.. I still questioning referee decision made in this game since only rooney went to provocate him to asked red card and he followed rooney suggestion ..what a mess!!..even Nani was not getting touch at all..This is terrible decision by referee and City really has bad luck this time..
In addition, United got penalty on first half while City failed to hit one after jones hands ball at second half
What do you think about referee decision?

well, you are right my friend.. I think the technology should be implemented in this soccer game.. However, he has utilize the head set and I think there have been discussion with his assistants but still the decision was wrong. However, this is the beautiful of football since the end result sometimes interfere by this kind of decision. Remember the Maradona scored goals using his hand..that would be no story if we have implemented video recording technology to cancel referee decision...appreciate your response anyway..

But if there was a replay from all angles who could have made a better decision. But if he scored with his hand and his team progresses remember it is at the expense of another country. It could mean an end to their world cup campaign till 4 years later and may be never again for some of the players.

Manchester united has played with 12 players because the referee clearly played for United I think. I am very sad for the city.

yes, see what the response from Mancini and Aguera taken from zeenews.com
London: Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has accused Rooney of deliberately getting their skipper Vincent Kompany sent off in Sunday’s derby clash.
"It was not a red card. Rooney told him his decision. This type of tackle happened with Rio Ferdinand and other United defenders many times,” Mancini told a daily.
"The red card for Vinnie? No, it`s impossible. But I don`t want to talk about the referee because I want to stay on the bench for the next game." he lamented.
Kompany was red-carded during Sunday’s FA cup clash for a two-footed lunge on Nani. Following this Rooney ran towards the referee to complain about the incident and Foy red-carded Kompany. Kompany's challenge, however, appeared to be a fair one.
Striker Sergio Aguero too wasn’t happy with the decision as he clearly blamed the incident to have conditioned the game that saw City losing the thriller 2-3 after being reduced to 10-men.
"I seldom try to find excuses or comment on the referees. But the unfair expulsion of Vincent conditioned the whole game." he said.

I agree that we were robbed of a great match to the sending off. Even with that match was really exciting. I thought 10 men City really took the battle to Man United in the second half. But United had done enough in the first half by scoring three goals to make it a mountain for City to climb.
Cheers!

well, yes indeed my friend..Mancini will do appeal for Kompany red carded, he will also appeal to what rooney did yesterday...see following part of his comments on goal.com:
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed the club will appeal the red card shown to Vincent Kompany in the FA Cup third round defeat to rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
Mancini refused to criticise referee Chris Foy for fear of a touchline ban but was clearly furious as he faced up to the prospect of losing Kompany for four matches through suspension.
“The red card for Vinnie? It’s impossible. I will appeal,” Mancini told reporters.
“I am sure that we will an appeal, I'm sure. If you can explain to me why he showed a red card...?
“I think every man can understand if it was correct or not. But now it's finished.
“I don’t want to talk about the referee because I want to stay on the bench for the next game.”?

Whilst it may seem harsh it was not a decision that solely affected the game. Remember that United should have had a Penalty in the second Half at 1-3 and that may have sewn up the game.

I don't think you should blame Chris Foy. Yes, Kompany did not touched Nani but the scissor tackle, as it is called, is a sending off offense. We do not want to see action taken only when there is contact. If caught, Nani could get himself badly injured, if not having his leg broken into pieces.
