my daughter turnd 18 last month. she's a senior and will be graduating this year. she's been working at the local grocery store for the last 3 months. she's maintaining straight a's in school. she's finishing up her aplications for a scholarship to a university just a few hours away from here. she was given a letterman jacket for her academic achievement. she'll be ordering her cap and gown later this month. i still have to get her class ring. she's definitely the apple of my eye. watching her grow into a young woman just makes me proud. :)

enjoy every moment with her. the time flies by so fast. i look at my daughter and wonder where did the time go! she used to be so small and so innocent and had to depend on me for everything. now, she's a beautiful girl, and becoming very wise and lets me know when she needs me.

I can really feel it that you are so proud of your daughter.
Well my friend, you have every reason to be so, because she's working at the same time studying and yet she got straight A's in school.

Well, congratulations to you for doing a great job as a parent! I am also proud of my girls and they are both making their own way in the world. My oldest lost her job this past year after being there for almost 7 years and it is sad, but I am also glad to see her move on and accept things. She is very mature for 21 and I am thankful that she is and not in trouble.
My youngest is 15 and does a fabulous job at the things that interest her. She really needs to work on academics, but she is still a good girl!
Tell your daughter that one of your online friends said to keep up the good work!!

to hear my children talk, they know they have it good. not only do they have me, they have their father and stepfather backing them up.
