Can you be that irresponsible?

Sadly, I think that I know some people like this. Some of them all too well as it turns out but that's beside the point. There are a lot of times where people just really seem to want to have all of the fun, with none of the responsibilities. They do have all of the potential in the world to do something great with what they do but they squandered it. The fact is knowing that people are capable of better is really the most frustrating thing of all. Yet, there are people who run and duck. They are able to talk the talk some of them to. But when it comes time to walk the walk, it is like really is just like agony for them. I feel sorry for anyone who has to suffer for their irresponsibility and it is my hope that these people see the light, but its obvious that its beyond some people.

Maybe it is not his child?

Some people can only live for the here and now. It's sad that he is doing this. I hope he realizes this before it's too late to be a part of this childs life. If he thinks things are hard now try explaining to this child in the future why he/she was not worth his time or money. Everyone is always looking for their good time and instant gratification but when it comes to be responsible they turn tail and run.

This goes along with my hate for people with a sense of entitlement. They think that the world owes them everything that they could afford to be irresponsible. They think that there would always be people around to bail them out when they need it. It's sad that they can't even figure out for themselves that with life comes responsibilities. And how you accept those is part of living.

That kind of problem has always seem to be like a game to those kind of men. Get a girl pregnant and then leave her alone. The baby is lucky if that mother who carries him/her is a very responsible one. And yes, there are people who earn money through hard works and then spend it only in a day through gambling or buying unnecessary things because they think they have a permanent source of income :( but they never realize that a day will come when things are not the same anymore. I've seen it happen to some people around me, they think the money will always be coming at the same day of the month and when it comes they spend it here and there never thinking that they should be saving for the future and for emergencies, too. So sad because unfortunately they became sick, the money stopped coming, and no more money to use for medications/hospitalizations and other important things they need. Whew, that's life.
