I've recently watched this movied which is being re shown the world over in 3D. Boy was I in for the surprise. At the very start of the movie, I suddenly felt very nostalgic and started to cry. I could not believe it had been, what, 15 years since it was first shown? I remember that I was young then and I saw the movie with my dad, mom and my younger brother (our youngest was really, really young then so we didn't take him to the movies with us). I remember then when I first saw it that I almost cried that time that Simba's father died. And, though I don't recall most of what I've seen, I started remembering as each scene unfolded. So I am glad that I saw the movie just once. Because as I watched it for the second time, I knew what the movie was, but could not remember all the details. Also, I like the song - Circle of Life and it's another reason why I shed some tears. When we watched it for the first time, my parents were younger and had all of the responsibilities in the family. Now, they are older and I and my younger brother have left home and are being responsible on our own. How time flies swiftly. And, in later years, I know that I will be looking at the twilight of my parents' lives as I see the dawn of my future children's. The circle of life. I'm so glad I saw the movie again.
