We're friends... we're sisters being me a 2 year older than her. We do quarrel 'bout things most of the time but it can't deny the fact that we more loved each other than quarrel *LOL.
*sigh! She's almost a year now been working abroad.
I missed you "Nher". Take care sis! A good future to you and your kids!
Do you have a sister (or brother) that's so dear to you?! It's a pleasure to have one!

Yes, I understand what it feels like to miss one's sister. I do have an older sister too. I also considered her my best friend. She works far from the city where I live but she visits us during Christmas time. My daughters and I look forward to her visits every year.
I am lucky to have one sister. Although we were four years apart and we used to quarrel when we were younger, we became closer when we grow older. We keep in touch through FB and text messages.
She is a blessing to me because she opened my eyes to what is important in this world. I was planning to apply for a job abroad and she asked me one question which changed my decision. She asked me this: "What is more important to you, money or relationship?" I stopped and I need not say more and turn down the job offer for me.She helped opened my eyes and know what really matters most. Relationship is more important for me and I will be putting relationships in jeopardy if I work abroad. My sister is full of wisdom indeed. I know that my husband and I will be able to provide for our family without one of us working abroad.
She is also my spiritual adviser and marriage counselor. She is God's blessing, my sister, my best friend.

All-in-one sister she is!
I have an ate (older sister) too, like yours, she's full of wisdom too but because what she had in life, she can't give or share advice more to us because she herself don't find it appropriate to give some most importantly love/relationships matter.
She had fooled by her partner, not knowing that the man was already married to another and/but been separated. She can't resist the love she had for that man that she opted to be away in the the country to avoid him.
Another reason maybe was to have a bigger income. She has 3 children and the 2 are in college. The eldest was recently graduated. She's an accountant here and working as an accountant too abroad.
My sister that I'm referring in here was the one younger than me. But well, my two sister are so dear to me. I missed them both. They were both working overseas!
What a great share you had in here! Thanks annelisle!
Glad we have sister's like them huh, anne! Cheers!

hi lhenni,
I do feel same way with my sister who is 7 years older than me. Despite the large age gap, we have been good with each other. She is the one who helped me finished my college. She is also very kind not only to me but to our parents too. She is married now and just visit us once in a month. We enjoy being together and talking our life with each other. I love to talk to her what is happening with my Masters and with my job. We also talk a lot about her daughter which we both dearly love. I think that it is a wonderful gift from God once you have such a very loving and caring sister.
