have you paid more attention to your son than your daughter?

as a parent, i think you shall treat your children equally, no matter son or daughter. but the fact is that in some places of china parents still pay more attention to the son and have a bias opionion on the daugher. we always hear the news that some parents try to give their own children to other people because the child is female and they donot want to raise her; some parents keep going on birth because all their previous children are daughter and they will not give up until they get a some; there are also some parents who love their son much better than daughter, they treat the daughter bad, eat bad and donot support the daugher to go to school.... son and daughter are equal, right? both of them are your children, why you treat them defferently?
