Why do many people could never be contented of what they have?

That is true, many people specially celebrities are addicted to surgeries. They invest on it because it is what they think best for their career. This is one of the reason why some normal people tend to earn money to make themselves physically perfect too. I am not against them it is their money and it is what they think would boost up their confidence. But given I have so much money, I wouldn't go for it.

It is a sad reality. But I respect the decisions of others who had to undergo such procedures. I would not call them greedy. I would say that it's a little sad that they had to take pains just to gain the approval or affirmation of the society. For me, if we only know how to accept people for what they are, nobody has to go under the knife.

The very nature of human beings is to constantly change ourselves towards better things. Well this attribute, in my opinion, is generally a nice quality. But as we all know, too much off anything is bad. Greed for money and other materialistic desires are often the root causes for greater social issues. I think most people always want more and not necessarily for the better. The average person sees a movie star whether it is on the internet or something else and most of these people are said to be the most beautiful and yet only a few are natural. Employers whether for movies or other jobs depending on the job want people to look fantastic as well. It is what is thrown into people's faces constantly and the ones in their dream job want to stay 'youthful' looking to keep their dream job. Its sad but that is the way people are.

Humans are born that way - to keep on seeking for the better. Curly haired will want to make it straight while the straight haired will make it curly. Tan skinned people want to be white while white one wants to have darker complexion. Human beings won't settle for anything less. We can never have the best too (not in the future) because life is a big meliora wherein there is always better than the best. People have their own choice and point of view in life. They even do have their own principle so I think we must respect them. As for me, I would not do plastic surgery not because I don't want to change my appearance for the better but it is just because I am afraid of the possible negative side effect of it but if I will have the guarantee that it will harm me nothing then, I'll go for it. But of course, too much of anything is bad. Too much surgery, too much love of money and more.
