Are you an everyday-er in myLot?

Are you a consistent everyday-er in myLot? At least some activity or other? Have you had bouts of days when it was not possible to log in at all? Apart from the day's earning [] have you felt you have missed it? Of course, missing earning for not being able to do something or the other also can make me/us feel bad.
I'm writing this because in the past few days, I have found it harder to spend time here. Want to know how others are doing. I'll check back and try to respond.

Pushyarag --
yes I am a regular visitor to mylot. I start the day with a hot coffee (without sugar) and mylot. I will post at least two responses or more if possible. Then take bath, get ready to go to colleges for taking classes.
From 5.45 to 6.10 am I log into mylot and whatever I can. then after return from college say in the evening I do log in for an hour or less than that.
True what we earn through this is relatively less than what we can by writing for books, magazines.
But this one is for the kick of it -- our writing is read by many and respected by many. Also friends like you are there to encourage.
I am a regular participant and but not an addict.

Pushyarag - Now it is 5.56 am of 10th January 2012. A hot coffee is before me along with mylot.

In my old life I could get addicted to mylot… especially when it was new to me… but I grew out of the addiction when I got busy and couldn’t be here. Now though, I have so many good friends that I enjoy seeing every day that I just love to come here to socialize with everyone.

ravisivan-I know you are very disciplined even in your regularity. And I have seen that you are regular, even if it is brief! It is also true that there is an encouraging and supportive community here at myLot, which is the real icing on the cake! I appreciate your spirit in advanced age as much as I do of so many like you.

Hi Hatley, having more proper rest would help in boosting the immunity. I'm glad that you are willing to have a pause to get yourself rest relaxingly in the bed Don't forget to drink enough water and take nutritious foods as well. I believe you will recover very soon doing so, and continue your favorite myLot activities as usual
Have a nice day

When I’m not busy with writing, I am an everyday writer in mylot. Even when I am writing an article or two a day, I still find time to come here and host a discussion or two and comment on other people’s discussions. I want to make payout every month, so it is important to me to have some active discussions going on a daily basis. If my discussions seem to not be getting around much anymore, well, then it is time to make some more that others might find interesting so that I can keep the money flowing in for payout.

PQ-yes, I can vouch seeing you almost every single day [that I have been] here at myLot. And you seem to be coming up with a lot of good discussions regularly. It really needs a lot of mettle to be such a prolific writer and so many members follow you on your discussions!. Also a very focused and disciplined earning plan. Great!

I guess I am, yes... I always come here everyday. Even when I'm not posting or make few comments only. My day will not end without peeping here. There are days that I have zero earnings here but doesn't mean that I didn't log on that day

LoL my footprints! Yeah but these days you won't see much of my footprints.
Yes I stay up late in fact it's 1:30AM here. But am trying to lessen my addiction by at least going to bed at 12MN. I can't make it more earlier than 12MN Still not too easy for me... but I guess I should be going to bed now even if I am still not feeling sleepy.

Haha aww just make new friends and go on topic that grabs your attention and answer them. I just started my-lotting and honestly, i am starting to get bored with it. Its not like i earn a lot from here by just my-lotting, so i just come here once in a while, when i feel like it. lol

Dear Pushhyarag! I am one of the senior members on this site and you can say that I have been with this site right from its inception! I have seen this site when it had teething problems and it has grown up in front of me in leaps and bounds!
I was a regular visitor of this site initially, but in between because of my family problems when I lost my father and brother in law I was absent from this for almost two years! There after I have come to this site, now it is about eighteen months or so!
This time I was very regular, but for last three months since I have joined another site, it becomes difficult for me to manage two sites at a time, my attendance had gone down here in participation!
Yes for last two months I was quite active on tasks and participated in the discussions not very actively! Irrespective of the fact I participate in the discussion or not , normally I come to the site to see what is going here at least once a day! Thanks !

Dear Pushhyarag! You are right, though I am active n this site for so long, but my score is not very big! This is basically I am keen in initiating a discussion and I comment back the responses!B doing so, though I am participating and adding many comments my score doesn't get increased! This is the reason why my score is less! Please go through some of my past initiated discussions to understand what I say!
Thanks a lot! Have a nice time!

Hi, glad to meet you AKRao. I'm sorry to hear about your family problems.
No offense meant but I would have imagined you making more comments for the time that you say you have been at myLot, like I see a lot of people with comment counts 15-20K. But all to their own; may be you have been quite selective.
I understand it is quite difficult manage multiple sites & activities while trying to be regular.
Good to know you are here every day even with less activity. Great!

No, I'm not on here everyday. MyLot is always in my mind, though. I go through the Daily Digest every morning and sometimes a post in there gets me on here to respond, and that leads to looking through discussions, etc. Sometimes I just feel like myLotting. I'm like this with everything, though...with different types of food, playing video games, etc., I get tired of doing the same thing or experiencing the same thing everyday. It's hard to get me to acquire a routine, so myLotting everyday just isn't possible.
I think part of it also is whether or not I feel like writing. I write and publish books, so if I'm currently writing and/or editing one of my works, I find it very difficult to want to come on here and write even more about various things. So it's safe to say that if I haven't been on here in a while, I've probably written another novel. I tend to get so immersed in characters and environments that I don't want to myLot and talk about "real life." Haha.
Missing earnings isn't really a reason I ever miss myLot. Soon after I joined I realized I shouldn't be a member for the earnings, I should be a member for the varied and vast types of people you can meet and exchange ideas with, or even just for the way the forum is set up with every subject imaginable. I also miss certain online friends I've made, but the two I've ever really deeply connected with have both gone inactive, so that doesn't really matter anymore. The myLot environment is just awesome, so I miss that most of all.

Thanks for the compliments and for the best response.
I'm an extremely lucky and blessed person, that's for sure. I've fulfilled every dream I had as a child and I'm only 23 thus far (starting a business, modeling, and becoming a published novelist). I'm currently in the process of writing up a new list so I have some more exciting endeavors to partake.
MyLot is actually quite amazing. It is a fantastic forum with every type of subject you could think of. I used to be a member of three different forums (one for child-free by choice people, one for video gamers, and one for vegans), and I'd have to go to three different websites just to participate in different subjects. Here, I can do it all, and in one place, while making friends and making extra money to go in my high-interest savings. It's a win-win-win.

Hello LovingLife: I concur with your thought that it is hard to maintain a monotonous looking routine. Very happy to learn about your writing & publishing endeavor, which you seem to be doing well at an early age in life..
Also noted the mention of many good reasons why is it rewarding [even if not highly lucrative] to be here.
Here's wishing you all the success!

Honestly, it feels terrible to be absent. Come here at least once. But yes, there have been days, and in fact months, when I hardly logged in. It was a self imposed exile. I had to demat my portfolio. Took it on war footing - all problems that were pending since 20 odd years..now at least my end of it is cleared. Dad is just not attending to his problem. Cant help him.

Hi vandana-it is true for me as well. When besieged by far too many personal activities, especially that must be completed if those should not recoil on us! For about three years, I worked for the Company as though I had no personal life. That led to a huge pile up of small things that had to be regularized. Plus my anxiety to get some parallel stream going just in case I decided to call it quits. Hmmm here today for longer than the past few weeks but don't know again next few days!

Hi Pushhyarag
Didnt they tell you that this one website is more addictive than many others I guess not. No worries, I am sure you are going to find out for yourself via this discussion
For me, The day I am on the Internet, I have to be here... at least once. Though there have been days at a stretch (a month and even more) but I do try my best to be around. I have experienced Mylotting from many places... Cafe, Home, even at the Hospital and even via a cellphone (that was when I realized how messed up those little keyboards on the cell phones are)

Ah that was a not so good experience. A friend of mine had met with a severe (near fatal accident) and I was at the hospital for 48 hours attending him. I also had put that one as a discussion as I was really sad when he had asked me to take care of his family after him... I know that I am not able to take up my own expenses and was worried. Thanks to Almighty he is safe and healthy now.

Good for you sids that you are kepping connected fro places and devices diverse! Keep getting the best out of this!

I am not that much addicted to mylot but in this month or you can say after the end of my semester exam i am on mylot everyday. I used to visit this site every day since dec 22.
Bay before i was almost absent from mylot for more than 20 days as it was my exam time. Even when i was in college when i got time i used to visit mylot but seems hard to visit each and everyday as there were alots of works and some things to do in college and when tests came i have to stop surfing and do study in those periods i didn't log in to mylot.
Frankly saying in regular college days in week max of 5 days i used to be in mylot which includes the saturdays night and the sundays. Well it is very hard to keep on your offline and online works. My friends used to visit facebook but i just go there and logout soon. I utilizes my time on gmail and blogger or in youtube or in gathering some tutorilas or having news of technology and new things on internet.

I have been in mylot for a month now and I can say I have been quite a regular here.. Initially the lure of earning money online for the first time kept pulling me and made me frequent here.. But after the first few days there was a phase when I could not log in.. At that time I felt a little restless and sometimes also was wondering and missing the new discussions here at Mylot..What started out as a means to earn some extra cash has soon turned an addiction to make friends and discuss my interests too.. Cheers ..Happy Mylotting

I would have to say everytime I have free time I seem to be finding myself on myLot. I am a fairly new user so maybe the addiction will fade in time but for now Im pretty hooked. It's always fun finding out what people's opinions are your thoughts. Responding to interesting discussions is always a good way to spend time and it also keeps the brain thinking!

I'm usually here every day, in fact the only time I am not here is when I am away from home for some reason. I sometimes travel to visit my father and I stay overnight because it's a long way away and he does not have the Internet. Sadly, that won't be for much longer.
I don't miss the times I have to be away from the computer as I spend way too much time here. I'm trying to be more active rather than sitting at the computer for hours and I'm really enjoying the things I am achieving around my home.

I've been a mylot member for going on three years now and I would say that on about 90% of the days I spend at least a little bit of time on here. The reason that I really enjoy it is because of the fact that it does give me an opportunity to have interaction with other adults that I wouldn't have had otherwise.
When I'm not able to log on I really don't miss it all that much because that typically means that I am spending time with other adults in real life.

I try to come on MyLot everyday. I find my activity on sites -- including this -- works in cycles. It begins when I first join the site, I spend hours upon hours on the site. Then, I'm on for less than an hour. And eventually, I don't visit the site for a week or more. Eventually, I remember the site and I'll be active for hours again.
Right now, I'm in the extremely active phase.
