Adding your blogs to Mylot

I have noticed that there is a section where you can add your blogs to mylot, I have been trying to add my blog their and followed all the instructions till the point where you need to authenticate your ownership of the blog, I have added a new blog post as instructed by mylot, but I have waited for more than an hour and still Mylot didn't authenticate my blog although RSS feeds showed the new blog post, My question that is there anyone out here whom was able to add his blog to Mylot? could you please help and provide information on how to do so? moreover will this really increase your blog traffic, comments and perhaps increase your Mylot earnings? all comments and information will be highly appreciated.

Well, It will not give your extra money or traffic directly but it will increase it anyway but how? here is how, when you have a blog post that discuss a topic that interest users, they will come to mylot section and read it and may comment on it and this way readers will earn money from commenting and discuss it while blog owner have to respond back to comments and this way he will increase his earnings as well, moreover if the reader was interested to know more he could visit the blog to gain more information, this is why I was looking for this feature.

U have created it using weebly, i have visited it.
i also run a blog on the same topic.
Now coming to mylot, u get no benefit of listing your blog there other than getting a backlink.Through your discussions u can generate traffic to your blog...
Never never mention ur blog link or referral links in your discussion which may lead to termination of your account and deletion of discussions.It once happened to me and i had to create a new account.

Hi Lekhya, thank you so much for your feedback and for visiting my blog - its related to make money online but also concentrate on how to increase your blog traffic, how to enhance website ranking and general SEO discussions, most important thanks for warning me about sharing my links in discussion as I have done this couple of times before without knowing the rules, now I have to watch out I will never do the same again, as for Weebly I am pretty satisfied with their services and they have a great and responsive support.

Hi icciev, thanks for sharing this problem.I am also experiencing the same problem at the "Blogs" section of mylot. I have submitted two of my blogs and placed a 'javascript' code provided by mylot for verification. Now many days passed and still the status is 'pending'. One of my blogs are having PR2 and the other one PR0, but custom domain.

Hi josechukkiri, thanks for your great feedback. exactly the same steps I talk and the same issue happened, I will try to contact Mylot admins for their feedback, they will give us better understanding and will share their feedback as well, as for your blogs its great that you have a PR2 blog, how long has it been up? I have two blogs with one having Page rank 1 while the other is still Page rank 0.

I submitted my blog several days ago, and up to now I have not been informed of it. Everyday I check my email if there's some confirmation about my blog being accepted or rejected. I think the blog is still being evaluated. Just wait and see, bro. I am sure mylot team will tell you about your blog. Cheers, bro. Regards.

good day icciev,
with reference to your main topic, i have not yet experienced adding my blog to this site. as i focus more on posting good quality topics for discussion and responding to posted queries. as i found these works are more motivating. although i am also maintaining two blogs which is also a good source of income.
perhaps, it will be better to write down a query to mylot admin regarding your concern so that you can be able to get the best answer. hence, it will also advisable to seek guidance from them for you to know very well the rules. hence, it is better to be safe at all times.
thus, after doing your query with mylot admin, for sure, your earning will flow instantly since you have follow the rules and obey it.

Hi airasheila and good day, thank you so much for your feedback and advice, its a great idea from your side to contact the admin, although its great to start discussions on great topics and respond to others as well but also blog posts will also derive a great discussion. Anyway we have to check that with Admins and hope they have a great and positive response since this will benefit all of us.

No I not add blog in mylot site because still I not make any blog and I cant make blog because I not know about blog creation.

Hi fantabulus, its easy these days to create a blog any one who has something to share can create a blog, but its extremely important to determine what you want to make out of your blog, if it will be a blog for just sharing your ideas with others then you don't have to worry about anything at all expect sharing your idea, but if you want your blog to be famous for specific topic then you need to worry about traffic, backlinks, etc... but this is extremely easy and you will learn it by your own with time moving. I have only started blogging before 10 months April 2011 and now I am doing good enough.
Anyway there is a lot of blogging platforms out their Wordpress is the greatest of them but with time needs some knowledge about it to keep enhancing it, there is people out their whom makes money online because they now wordpress very well and can make custom website, applications, etc... but for easier blogging platforms you have blogger, weebly, webs, etc... and those are extremely easy, you just create account, select your blog theme, drag and drop design and that's its ready to start posting. If you are serious about blogging I can help you in providing more information.

It won't increase YOUR MyLot earnings. The 'Blogs' section is a free service which MyLot provide. It MAY reward those who post comments within MyLot on your blog, once it is 'authenticated' but I cannot vouch for that.
I believe that the authentication or acceptance of blogs is something which MyLot do manually ... in other words, somebody has to look at your blog and decide whether it is suitable or not. This might take days or weeks rather than hours!
I don't know how many people visit the Blog section (we don't hear much about people doing so in the Discussion area) but I doubt whether having a blog listed there will make a great deal of difference to your traffic.
As always, traffic to a blog depends on:
1) whether you research your keywords and use them in your articles and headings to attract the right kind of traffic and
2) whether the content of your blog is even readable and considered useful by the people who do visit. These days, if you are blogging in an area which is already covered by thousands of other blogs, you have to be REALLY outstanding and different to make any headway at all. You also have to prove that you really care about your visitors by not only producing good, readable copy which is of value to them but also by double-checking for spelling errors, grammar errors, punctuation errors and so on. There is nothing which will send most readers away quicker than a poorly written blog.
