The kids and I saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, on Christmas day. Loved it, but I might have to go see it again since we had to sit in the front row. I told the kids this movie literally was a pain in the neck. Anyhow, loved the soundtrack even though my favorite these days was the music from Transformers. Love that hard rock thingy. What's your fave? Something new or from the past?

I love the soundtrack of the Rocky Horror picture show but I just can't watch the movie with my eyes open. Not quite sure why. LOTR rules and I forgot what was on the Bladerunner soundtrack. Must have been good though. Love the movie ... it was sooooo moody.

The "Bladerunner" soundtrack was done by Vangelis..Moody synth instrumentals,it was so good with that movie.."Rocky Horror" is so OTT and Camp, the cast seemed to be having a blast making it and it shows on watching it!

Who can forget the Wizard of Oz. They better never remake that. The music is timeless.
I'll never sit in the front row again. But I guess you have to try everything once. It's a good thing I enjoyed the movie.

Yeah, he did. With Dianna Ross? It was weird. Couldn't get through the first half hour.

Hi, gtargirl. Did you see the movie I Am Sam? It starred Sean Penn and Dakota Fanning was in it as well. I loved the movie. I especially love the soundtrack! I've owned it for over 10 years now and it never gets old.

You know, I was never a Beatles' fan until I heard "All This and WWII," which was also an album of Beatles cover songs by some awesome bands. I discovered all the Beatles songs that didn't quite make the top 40 list. I liked them.

I love Grease, Oklahoma, Sound of Music, Footloose and there are so many more. I am a lover of the old ones. I will have to see Sherlock Holmes. I liked the first one and am hearing the second is better. I like alot of new ones too but they play the oldie stuff alot of the time.

Jennifer's Body was a little to hard to sit through. I only saw bits and pieces because I kept flipping the channel. So I don't really remember the soundtrack. I'll have to check it out again. Sherlock Holmes is a great movie. I actually got paid for writing a review. FUN! I highly recommend it.

I think Franne32 liked. Personally I thought it was a silly high school horror/romance flick. But that's just me.

I love the music from "August Rush", "Once" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe". I'm a mix of everything in general I listen to a lot of country music but techno/hard metal is my number 2 and recently I've gotten into Lady Gaga and Katy Perry don't know why.

Yeah, Freddie is a pretty boy! I love the scene when he first sees August in the park playing guitar and they play together. Awwww.

Wow, you've seen August Rush? Kerry Russell, right? It's on the Lifetime channel all the time ... well, not all the time. But the music is pretty incredible. Love the story line too. Lady Gaga and Katy Perry I can do without but they are fantastic entertainers for sure.

Has to be a tie between Easy Rider and Gladiator. I hate the film Gladiator, but the music is something else.

Yeah, that was a good one too. I've seen bits and pieces of Titanic, not the whole thing. Sorry, not a Leonardo van.

at this point in time, i would go the Wedding Singer's soundtrack, obviously as romantic as it gets, funny but well meant lyrics.. Growing old with someone you love the rest of your life would really be a fascinating feat of mutual respect, endless affection and a thorough understanding of what life would be when one is too old to function, lol!

I'm afraid I didn't give that movie a chance because I just don't like Adam Sandler. He was in the movie right? My daughter says I need to get over my issues.

I really, really love the soundtrack of Transformers. It adds a little extra magic. And speaking of magic, of course I like that of Harry Potter.

Yeah, they used some great bands for that soundtrack. And would you believe, I have not seen one episode of Harry Potter.

Loved the soundtrack from Twilight, especially songs by Paramore. But, I haven't seen the series. Though one episode was on cable and my kids turned the sound off and created their own dialogue. It was hilarious.
I'm kind of a Transformers, Terminator, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia girl. Vampire stories by Anne Rice too.

Did you like the movie "I am Number 4." I haven't seen it yet and was thinking of getting the DVD. Love Chace Crawford. He was in the movie, right?

My favorite movie soundtrack would have to be the music from the movie "Woodstock". I was too young for the festival in '69 but have lived with the music all my life!

That one I haven't heard. Sixties music is kindda cool. Who was on it? I was a mere child in the sixties. Spent 1959-1961 in New Guinea, then moved to Holland. So was pretty much removed from the Woodstock happenings.

Some movies do give extra value with a good soundtrack..I saw "Game of Shadows" but I wasn't coming out with the soundtrack uppermost as the best part, but I did enjoy the movie..I recall "Iron Man" had a good rockin' soundtrack!

I think some of the best songs can be found on soundtracks. Some of my favorite soundtracks are Grease, The Bodyguard, Queen of the Damned, Waiting to Exhale, Poetic Justice and Twilight just to name a few.

Whitney does have a voice on her. That movie is on Dish Network all the time. Maybe I'll sit down and watch it one of these days.
