Blocked on Twitter

I use Twitter a lot now and have built up a good few online relationships with friends from around the world. Just Recently I noticed that I hadn't seen one of my online friends tweets for a couple of days and they were usually tweeting a lot, I clicked on their profile and noticed they had protected their tweets. I then tried to follow them again and every time I did that I would get the protected their tweets message again. I am at a loss to understand why they've done this as we were getting on really well. Have you had any of this happen to you on Twitter/Facebook or any other Internet social network?.

It might be an accident. I haven't done any tweeting but this woman at work sent me a friend request when I first started on facebook and recently I noticed she had blocked me too.
I think it might be because I am hardly ever on there so there is nothing for her to see. I wondered why she sent me a request in the first place because I know she doesn't really like me. I'm not sure why...but I know she doesn't. I don't let that bother me though. I think she was hoping to get something off facebook to talk about but I am not one to hand that kind of stuff over either

I thought that it might be that when It happened but I have left a number of tweets and they haven't replied. We got on really well so it really came out of the blue.

Not on Twitter. But on Facebook. A friend didn't blocked me but set privacy settings which I have no clue at first why. There is also someone who deleted me, a previous company colleague. We don;t communicate on FB but she was a little friendly to me before we both left the company. I just suddenly noticed that I was not seeing her updates so I checked her name and I realize she deleted me as friend. While some of our colleagues are still her friends. Well, that doesn't bother me anymore now.
So in my case, the person deleted me maybe becoz we aren;t really that close personally. In your case, since you both are getting on really well.. maybe the person kinda got tired or something. If you said some rude jokes it could also be one of the reason.

I have deleted people on facebook that I don't have any contact with but not neccesarily fallen out with. It was just out of the blue and I sent a few tweets asking why but they haven't replied.

Believe it or not,I have registered neither Twitter nor Facebook.Here on mylot some mylotters have mentioned them, but so far I seem to have no idea what they are like.

I don't have twitter but its look like has been hacked, is it? Or wrong in system.
