Buy an external hard disk

Western Digital and Seagate, either of the two is my choice. I try Conner Brand but i recommend Western Digital or Seagate because here in our place where Internet Public Business are plenty, they all prefer these two brands i mention.

sivaeinfo 500mb is too small amount now even people didn't like to keep 500mb microsd cards for thier mobile. As other mylotters predicted that you are mistakenly written 50 mb instead of 500 gb. If you didn't than i think you need to revise your choice. I prefer segate as better external hard disk. Even western digital and transcend are good but segate is better.

Hi,i am not good at computer. But my husband is crazy on these stuffs. He once bought an external hard disk. With it, we can download big files, such as movies, then enjoy them on the TV or take it to other places, it is very convenient. Now we rely more and more computers. And it is necessary to buy some device which has large content and easy to move.

You mean 500Gb for external harddisk not 500Mb right? For external harddisk, you better choose well known branded products, like from WD and Seagate. I also have external harddisk my self and its brand is Transcend. Transcend is more pricy than the other brands but i like it because it has a good durability. My harddisk is a waterproof one and also it has a very good design for me. It is up to you for choosing the best external harddisk for you, but you better choose famous branded one so you can sure about its products.

500mb maybe enough for you but the price difference between 500mb and 500gb wont be much.. i prefer you buy a 500gb harddisk it would cost you some 1200rs somethin around that dude..

hi siva. your plan to buy an external disk is a good one.... in today's market there are lot of brands available and also local product also available.... so the my suggestion is to buy a branded one because safe and secure for our valuable data,but the cost will be little more high when compared to other products..... first u decide ur budget range, then i will suggest the best one in that range...... have a nice day.....

It is important to have an external hard disk today since today the data becomes larger and larger. I think you might make a mistake here. 500MB is not enough for an external hard disk today. You should buy at least 500GB or 1T of external hard disk. It is not so expensive anyway. And any big brands should provide good quality external hard diskes. I love China

I'm really thinking in buying one myself too. Before formating my notebook I was running short on free space and a little more is always welcome. I would prefer the biggest one you can afford right now. 500GB may seem like a lot now, but over time it will become full and some more GBs will be very important. What about a 1TB if you can with the cost? Also I prefer it to be USB 3.0 to have a good speed, or else the machine is likely to crash while copying data.

siva, your talking aboout 500GB know. By mistake or by speed typing you had noted as 500 MB instead of 500 GB. Yes external hard disk is now need that too who had old systems with less memory. The information we are storing are increasing day by day. I am also planning to bought a new hard drive. If you get good suggestion from our mylot friends, convey me those information.

i think for a dhard disck you look how big it is not the brand name im right yea, because that what solve your problem with the size things when you download anything you want, not brands will affect it but only the size, hope all here will help you so
