Once upon a time when TV and computers didn't exist the only thing which helped people find out about things happening out of their lives were books. Now we have many technical devices which give us faster access to information so we tend to put the books aside. Do you prefer Films to books and if not why?

I enjoy both. If I have time though, I would rather be reading a good book. When reading a book you can use your own imagination to come up with what the characters in the book look like and sound like. With a movie or tv show, there are times that a certain actor plays a part and it seems like they just aren't right for that part.
As far as news though, it is too depressing for me lol. I use the computer to check the weather and that is good for me. If I find something online that is interesting in the news, then I read the article about it.

That depends on many aspects. If the movie script meets with a talented director and a group of practiced perfomer, the film will not only reflect the idea of the writer but can be sublimed meanwhile, that would be alucky thing both for us audience and the film. But if the contrary happens, I would like to just read the book rather than watch the film. To the classics, no matter how well is the film, I will read the book as well.

Im not someone one likes to read at all, i like to read about people life and see how they came about it life and what struggles they went through but reading about a movie or TV episode is not me at all because i can just watch it onthe TV and enjoy that much better i believe. I will watch a movie rather than read the book about the movie because its easier to watch a movie than read the book. When i usually read i forget about what i have read because im not focusing on it at all and that bugs me but im not the only one like this at all. I can only read something i want to read and im intrested in as well.

I can't say. I mean more people have become couch potatoes and want things the easier way, but sill there are the Book fanatics.
Like there are fans who have seen only the HP movies and like it, there are ones who have read the book and they don't like the movies!!!
So I think have already made my point and should shut up!!!

I think it's difficult to choose between movies and books, especially when a book's been made into a movie for example. I know many people tend to compare the book to the movie, but that's just unfair towards the movie. With a book you have more time to develop your plot or characters, whereas with movie, you only have about an hour and a half to do the exact same thing. Therefore, I think it's important to keep in mind that books and movies work in a different way and you have to respect each medium as it is.
