Hello and welcome to my poetry corner. In this post I am going to write a couple of poems that I personally call Hairicks. What is a Hairick? A Hairick is a Limerick couple with a Haiku. In this post I will include two or three Hairicks. So lets begin.
New Life
Now I start out my new life.
Free from pain and strife.
I now live to see what I have missed.
Everything I do goes on a list.
Now I have time now I am going to shine.
Life I live now,
Get away from the bad things,
Life I live now.
On My Own
Here I am on my own.
Going to a new world unknown.
Hope that I can see.
What new life is for me.
So now I go into a new life I want to know.
Here on my own now,
Once again I live this life,
Here on my own now.

Excellent. How unique. I love haiku and I love limericks. Ptting the two together is a superb idea. Looks great on the page too. Hairick eh? I've got to try this.
