Again I am reminded how good for us a good laugh is. A new study showed that those people who said they laughed at least once a day were 60% healthier then others who didn't. My advice, find something to laugh about, yourself is a good place to start.

Well then, I have to start laughing. I already laugh. Not, do nervous laughs count as well? Or does someone who laughs at the wrong time, does that count. LOL. I would say any laughing would work. So, lets start telling jokes so we can all laugh. I want a job now where I can laugh all day. I actually believe that. Happy people do seem to live longer.

For sure.....and friends will also help you out with that....the laughing that is. I also read the comics....they make me at least smile if not laugh out loud....but you do feel so much better after you have a good laugh..sets the tone for a whole day!

Laughter is really something that is great for all of us, rather great come to think about it. It just proves that we can really find some amusement out of the rather impressive absurdity of life. There are just going to be a lot of times where we tend to really step forward, looking at all of the bad things in life, but that just proves that we take life too seriously.
By taking life too seriously, we're not going to survive much of it. Therefore, we need to find something to laugh about. Laughter is a rather fascinating thing to say the very least. There is just something great about finding some amusement out of life, finding some laughs, some smiles, something that is just going to allow us some peace of mind and ease us right into life. There is just something that makes us smile. Embrace the absurdity that is life and laugh. That's all I've said.

Yes, I just went to the bathroom, left the laptop open, Creamie the cat sat on my keyboard. Probably did his usual circle first. He had brought up over 100 windows for me to close. Not bad for someone who is computer illiterate.

My dogs make me laugh every day! They are so funny, as are the birds and squirrels outside my window. I do laugh at myself sometimes but it's mostly my animals that keep me healthy in that way.

Darn!
I guess if we can't even laugh at ourselves, then there is something seriously wrong with us.
But sometimes its hard to see ourselves first thing in the morning and remind ourselves to laugh. Specially when the only things that crosses our minds are the troubles we are in for the day.
I want to be healthy though.

As much as possible, I laugh everyday. I don't laugh without any reason because it will just make me feel crazy. I laugh with my friends and most of the time with my boyfriend and classmates. I love to spend time with them for they complete my day.

Haha my friend told me that by laughing at least 15min a day, you could loose weight. So we practically try to laugh at everything, but then gave up. I mean its not like you could loose 10kg in a day just by laughing right? And after that we got more stress tryna find stuff to laugh at. Lol.

just like frowning does to the face, I am sure smiling or laughing has an effect. Frowning tightens the muscle in the face, and I assume, laughing is the other way around. have you heard of laughing therapy? I know I heard it from before and I also read it recently from somewhere.

Hi savypat,
I couldn't agree more with you. I love to laugh and it is said that laughing is good for the soul and the best medicine - I believe it! I aim to laugh as much as possible every day and I am not a person who is afraid to laugh at herself. My 6 year old is a constant source of laughter.

I do find that I feel a lot better when I have something that I can laugh about every single day. I think that is a large part of the reason that I spend some time every day listening to podcasts of a morning radio show that I really enjoy. In addition to that, the fact that my contact with other adults is somewhat limited, I also find that there are a lot of things that you can laugh about from spending time on mylot.
