Ya, I admit it. I am forever griping about other members who don't proofread their material before they post it. Then I post something after thinking I have proofread it and when I read it again it has mistakes. Anyone else a hypocrit? About this same thing or something else? Come on. Fess up.

It's funny how the human mind will not always spot errors. If you write a book, you have to proofread and edit it many, many times!

I am a writer and i just have an eye for errors and the old fashioned way of Capitolization and sentence structure. Now days you see no caps and abreviations.

Since we are critters of this world, we sometimes can be hypacrits.
We are wired to spot mistakes, others mistakes. The confidence we have in our abilities clouds our ability to look at our work objectively, and we all make mistakes and fail to correct them. I do this all the time and sometimes mess up most important official work.
But that's okay! We are here to discuss and respond and have a good time.
By the way, this responce has bin doble cheked tvice.

I don't criticize others because I know it is easy to make errors. Whenever I find a discussion with those typing errors, I usually try to make sense out of the errors or try to catch a glimpse of what the discussion is about then I reply it from that point of view. I type very fast and I rarely prooofread, sometimes I end up with those errors too.

I am sure I have been a hypocrit at one time or another, as I think most people have been too.
I have done the proofreading mistakes as well. Nothing to beat yourself up over

Believe it or not, here on mylot I almost check through my every discussion or response before posting it.However there are still some typos in them, not to speak of mistakes in grammar.Everyone may make mistake,if anything, varies in number.

Do I make mistakes. Sure do. I’m trying, always, want to keep trying. Where do mistakes come from? With me some are rushed ones and those I am working on, thanks. Others I can’t do too much aboot.
Check one and only one.

Is the answer to the above serious? If an admin said, check your email and read the faq, guidelines that could be one thing. If someone said, Survey Said! an old game show perhaps and it could be just for fun. Of course if the fess up determined to be mylot in life, I might consider the implication of checking one.

NO CELTIC JUST YOU. Just kidding we all make mistakes but I find it pays not to criticise others as were all human and prone to make mistakes and the thing you've just criticised is likely the mistake you will make next.
Live and let live and if you can't help then leave it to someone who can.

I like your last sentence. Makes ALOT of sense. Live and let live and if you can't help then leave it to someone who can.
