Recently ,I find a problerm ,it is my poor logical ability .
I am poor of expressing myself loghically ,so a lot of my friends would not like to listen to what I say ,And I always was ignored by them.but acctully it is really more charming when some of my friends are saying something, and apprently they are more welcomed and impressive in front of new friends.
And more ,I find the person who are successful in career also have a strong logical ability, and she or he could control the emmergency in a very right way within a short time, I was very appreicated for this kind of person .
it seems the logical ability is really very helpful in making friends and in career.
My friends, can you give me some suggestions of helping me improving logical ability?

I would not judge my logical ability by what my friends says. Sometimes your friends might have beeen intimidated by your answers or your answers were not supportive of what they were saying or wanted to do. I think human been are all rational and able to think logically. Otherwise, without logic, you wouldn't have started this discussion.

I just mention this to my parents and one of my friend before, but they did not told me that i have a poor logic ,because they are even not very known about this!
The reason I think I have a poor logic is beacase when i am trying to say something and sometime they can not understand and sometimes even me do not know what I am trying to say.And when facing something emergency ,I can not choose how to deal with it correctly and also feel very nervous.and do not know how to response

I understand your point but I would like you to be more positive about yourself. You seems to think that because your friend seems to be less interested in what you say is all have to do with your poor logic which indeed, might not be the case. Have your parents or your teacher or even someone else told you that you have poor logic? Why do you think that you have a poor logic?

Yes logic is also important on dealing in everything. As for a suggestions start reading some books and start by asking questions. However logic is not the only thing you need in life to be successful it is also by knowing the feelings of others...
We are being taught by our parents, teachers and colleagues that we need to study more in order to learn more and become successful in life.
In reality, if i put it on a percentage level 20-25% requires our educational attainment (subjects / lessons being discussed at schools or universities) and the remaining 75-80% requires our experiences, habits, attitudes, personality wise, interpersonal relationship skills and the like.
So why are you so concerned on logical aspect alone when there is more it takes than logic alone. Learn from your experience. i think you already heard this saying, "Ones experience in the life are the best teacher."
I gladly appreciate the being in you for first you acknowledge as an ignorant so you will become wise... To put it on words, When a person proclaimed that he knows everything is the foolish of all the fools and arrogant, while those persons admits that they are ignorant are the wise man for they will acquired true wisdom.

You could just bring up more interesting conversation topics. :p
Joking aside if you actually seek to improve you're logic skills, learn math or engineering. Of course if you don't like the number aspect. You can take the philosophical approach. By this I mean the actual study of philosophy. Nothing crazy or abstract, logic is a basic principal of philosophy. Even the most famous philosophical concepts are based off these basic principals. Just look it up or get a philosophy for dummies type book. The basic of a logical argument looks like this: You have 2 statements: A and B. If both statements are true, then your conclusion C is also true. If either is false, then C is also false. It's not quite that simple. But something that teaches that basic idea should teach you the rest as well.

I would say when making a decision or caught in a
conversation where you need to speak your mind try to
keep your emotions out of it. Look at each side of the
situation or question and then confront it from the
most sensible, easy and effective manner.
Some people are just good at waving a lot of big words
and when they are done , they may not have said much at all.
But, they have caught everyone's attention with the use if
the big words. So, you might get a Thesaurus and practice
learning new words. Expanding your vocabulary is always a
good thing. Good Luck!

Hello, lightrain. There was a trick I learned a few years ago that caused me to think outside the box. Turn your alarm clock upsidedown and see what takes place. You will be amazed at what happens. Do things that make your brain "think" differently. You will be sharper and more alert. Have a great day. :) :)

It is true that those who have good logical reasoning can be successful in their careers and their life. But I believe we can all improve on this ability. There are lots of articles and books that maybe of help. Personally, I'd suggest you just start thinking as simple and concise as possible. Try to do away with things that don't have any connection with what you're talking about and minimize also the use of analogies to explain what you're saying. I think one or two would suffice. But the key here is organizing your thoughts first and foremost before speaking out. It's like editing what you're gonna say before even saying it :)

It's about level of intelligence....higher a person's intelligence level, the higher ability of the logic.
You should improve your intelligence, without it maybe what you say is nonsense and of course your friends would not like to listen.....or may be you should be a joker.
Reading is good way to improve the logical and intelligence.

Just be more rational in understanding things and situations, like for example - pretending that you are in that moment what will you do or what will you think! You must try to realize the positive and negative side of a every situation to come up with a good comprehension. Logical ability can also be acquired from experiences, just learn how to use it! People differ from logical aspects of intelligence! Everybody has this skill!

Logical ability is process by the left brain, and male is better in logical thought than female. Logic can be trained by Reading, Analyzing, and Talking. If you like to play chess, it is a good game to train your logical ability! Again read more will help you a lot!
