When a person is holding your hand while speaking, it means you are that dear to him/her.
While if a person has a passive face or is not looking at you at all while you are speaking , it means he/she is not interested in what you are saying.
If your husband is winking at you, it means he likes something from you.

Well it depends my friend.
If it is your group of friends, you can tell them you are insulted with a glaring eyes.
If it is a group of men who seem ready for a fight, let it pass. Reacting negatively might lead into violent attack by them. Remember, they are in group and all men.

In front of a person I understand the person by his or her verbal language, their tone of voice and their body language. During a telephone conversation I can't see the person. I rely on their words used and tone of voice. Body language can differ internationally so I am careful with this when I am traveling.

Understanding people do pose a challenge but yes, one way to understand them is to observe their body language. But I think that these body movements would only show a person's sincerity or how truthful he is, but I don't think these are enough to understand him entirely. I mean, we may know a person is not telling the truth through body language but we wouldn't know why he's not telling the truth.
