I havent seen any relevant projects he did, all the news had been focusing was his sister's love life and showbiz career and also about him being single. Actually IO think there is more news about his actress sister than him. Please enlighten me, by far what have our President did to progress our country. I know he is targeting his political oppositions with corruption cases but I haven't seen him do something for our economy. I only voted for him cos he is the lesser of the 2 evils and the real; presidential candidate who can improve our economy didnt win the election and have no chance to win any election.

Hello Captain-Albert,
That's why i don't feel any kind of rant or frustration against Noynoy because I didn't vote for him. it made me strive more to vote for Gordon because i know he had a vision for the Philippines, i believed he could have make the difference because of his tremendous track record in Subic. i don't watch news pertaining to other useless stuff unless it's the SONA or some announcement about Govt. Projects. all i see is more politics than Public Service..

I do want to vote for Gordon then,i really do but I know he have no chance to win cos it hurts to say this but the majority is shallow. In politics people vote for fame and name, which Gordon sadly dont have but I do believe he would have been the innovative President we need, I just dont want my vote to goto waste so I go for the less of 2 evils.
I kind of voted for him though too cos his Sister, whom annoys the heck out of me promised she will left the country if her brother wins but damn, she didnt leave and its gives her more TV time. I love her heroic mom and Dad but I hate her.
I cant hate her brother yet but i hope he can prove something this year. I hope he do something so I will like him despite of his annoying sister.

LoL! yes, i heard her say she'll leave, I guess she left but not for good. kris before was ok, many people admired her because of her honesty, but now it's too much she's so KSP already, attention seeking and yes, annoying.
I just realized that she wants ALL the attention in the world, maybe because she was spoiled, she's very different from her well behaved sisters.
sometimes i pity on her, because someone only married her for her money.
well, she didn't keep her word too bad.

hello!
I've heard of news that whenever he does something, like build a school (out of his own money yes, not government money) he doesn't want the media to know, which is genuine kindness.
I also voted for him (first time i voted i was already legal) because it's true he is better than the evil guy who steals money in the government and makes crappy subdivision houses and homes which are substandard and full of fraud. (yes, i just ranted about MV)
I don't think that he is the lesser of two evils, i don't think he is evil :)
I think that he has efforts to make peace with the MILF, he really did offer a hand but I guess the MILF didn't want to.
the cut on budget (to cut on corruption) is actually good because when there is less corruption the investors will come to our country. I like it that he corrects the wrong things that happened with the previous administration.
so far, I'm not really super updated with the news, so so far this is what I know

I think he is a nice guy but I question his skills as a leader, can he lead a country, can he save us from proverty, can he help our economy and make us feel progress. Can he provide jobs and stop pollution and last but not the least and the most important of them all, can he make his sister shut up once and for all. I cant stand her,her voice, her mediawhoring , she wants everyone's attention,I appreciate her honesty but she is annoying as hell. whenever I see her commercial of her with her son not knowing what is "sulit" I rage.

That commercial being gone off TV will be so amazing but sadly it will be replaced by more of her commercials. Well she is heck of an endorser. You mean the people who polute our surroundings, The people who makes lots of babies they cant afford to raise. people who are unemployed cos their picky with jobs and people taking overrated college courses with so many graduates, 70% of them are unemployed.

LOL
what's sulit?
It's getting more than what we pay for
remember that line. haha LOL.
anyway cool down, he's human, not superman, he can improve the situation of the Phil but not totally revamp it. that would be impossible especially stopping pollution. the improvement of one country does not solely rely on one person but on the people, that is how japanese and korean people maintain their economy. Japan changes their PM every month? (not sure but I heard they change a lot) yet they are still on top.
progress is not only about the president. it's also about people

You're right...There's not much news with him. But then again, I never watch the news because they only have bad news all the time. Even showbiz are bad news because they are not very informative in very important points of the economy. What good are they when they are very useless anyway? lol
Also, don't you know that the popular Aquino siblings are helping each other in terms of getting the people's attention? But anyway, leaving those aside, he has not much progress just like his mother before him, no?

Well, our country will soon become a showbiz country -hahahaa- lolz
Oh well- I don't know what to say.
People voted him (sorry I did not) people think that showbiz will help our economy- sorry, they're wrong.
Our country needs improvement and not a funny stage of comedy and clowns. duh!!!

I know many people say that he is just starting his reign so thats why he dont have projects, well the President he replaced, though she might be corrupt, she didnt have projects on her early years as a president.
I just wish next time he is in the news, its about progress, not about his lovelife nor about his sister.

What he had achieved is to imprison the former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. To be honest P-Noy is really not that competent for me. He haven't done anything for the betterment of our country.

That's what she get from the Aquino - Cojuangco dynasty for meddling with the Hacienda Luisita! But things are still looking bad because the clan is trying all their tactics to reverse the SC decision. And where better to start than removing the Chief Justice! And Cordona's allies in the supreme court are next.

Hi CaptAlbert, I'm not big on politics but I heard a very interesting information from my husband a few months ago, about PNoy's achievements in economy. He said that Philippines is no longer in debt, and is now even a creditor to other countries. He read that from a newspaper. He even commented that PNoy's Press team is not doing their job well for not disseminating this good news to the people.
I do hope that was true, and I think it could be, since the dollar-peso exchange rate has been stable for a long time.

I hope he does something to our security though. Our territories are being invaded and our security just accept the bullying. I do want to see 1st world...even 2nd world Philippines in my lifetime.

With a weaker naval and army forces than China, its not going to be easy to keep our territories secured. That is why, our government is heeding help from US and United Nations. However, because of China's strong position in world economy, US and the UN would have to be as neutral as they can. But, just recently there was news about US naval ships coming to Philippine aid in the scarborough shoal. So, that's a good sign that we have support from the stronger US force.

well, he is in power for more than a year. what do you expect from a president? it is very clear that the first year was devoted to cleaning the house of sort. now that he has done that, we expect him to focus on his programs for his people. our economy, if you base your evaluation from statistics, is actually doing well. and it is expected that it will do well this year.

I do hope when I watch the news I will now see programs instead of talks about his love life and his sister's acting career. He must do something to make people respect him as president, as our leader.
he should do something, his family name is on the line.

Statistics? Oh! You mean by Cojuangco owned SWS and Pulse Asia polling system?
And he is almost 2 years now on his position!

You have been watching way too much The Buzz ...
IMHO, his focus is on building good foundations for our country. I think the first thing to go are the termites that destroy the very foundation. I equate corruption with the termites - it was so pervasive in the last administration that a termite spray will not do. The foundation has to be torn down and a new one rebuilt. If you take away the corruption, it will be easier to move on. I see the changes more on in my everyday life. I haven't been approached by kotong cops, I don't see a lot of wangwangs around and I have seen people lining up, although not all the time. I think we are at least doing away with that entitled mentality, which is a good start. But's that me. How about you, have you noticed anything different in our country?

I actually get the annoyance from TV Patrol,Saksi and Bandila not the Buzz. My annoyance of his sister rooted from Tv commercials of products she is most likely not using.
the problem is I dont notice anything or feel changes, Only price hikes, thats what I noticed by far. But I'm still not judging him, I just dont feel and changes.

Our president has achieved so much in one year. He has run after former president GMA and now the Supreme Court chief Justice Corona. This impeachment case will once again divert the people's attention from the more important issues that should have merited most of the attention of the government. Who will be the next in line to be removed from office? The government is not spending. There are no infrastructure projects due to fear of corruption. We are at a standstill and no one is moving towards a more progressive Philippines. There is no question about the goodness and sincerity of the President but he isn't the leader we need. We need someone who can lead the nation and alleviate the poverty of the people. The country side has remained undeveloped. News items regarding the president are dedicated to his romantic escapades, his sisters and unimportant issues which should not be so because he is the president. He still has a lot left in his term and I sincerely hope he does something good for the country.
