As we all know Bollywood movies are one of the major and popular field in Entertainment but now according to me I think Bollywood cant make any movie on its own it now depends on Hollywood & South Indian Movies.
As we are watching each and ever movie been copied from either Hollywood or South Indian Movies
What happend to our Indian Directors, Story Writers what happened to their immaginations now we can just see copied movies and also if someone brings new story it gets flop .
so in short i just see the end of Bollywood cause it cant stand on its own.

India is a country of huge population and most of the people are not accustomed with hollywood films. So whats wrong with it if a good subject is used for entertaining a huge portion of people. Not many people are aware of the film MIRACLE in India, but when you say CHAK DE INDIA then it will sound familiar. Besides you can see original films are also being made like ZNMD, ROCKSTAR,3 IDIOTS. And adaptation of hollywood films are not new. For example AGNEEPATH for which Amitabh Bachchan & Mithun Chakroborty both the lead actors has got National Award was the adaptation of Al Pacino starer film SCARFACE.

Its not all true. Directors like Farhan Akthar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Vishal Bharadwaj and Imtiaz Ali are very much talented and have also proved their worth by making films such as Dev D, Jab We Met, LSD. Udaan by Vikram Motwaane has been rated among top 10 movies of 2010 by imdb. So i dont think the indian film industry is dying, if only it is entering into a new phase.

The art of being "inspired" was always a part of the fabric of Bollywood. Its nothing new. In my view, the Kapoors kicked off this trend and since then it has been carried forward by the Chopras, Mehras, Sippys and everyone else that followed them.
I can only think of names like Rishikesh Mukherjee, Basu Chatterjee and a few who denounced such copy-cat creations and had their own style & content.
As a matter of fact, the new boys are at least trying new things, new themes, new experiments. You wouldn't have dreamed of making a commercial Hindi movie with Vinay Pathak in the lead role even 10 years ago. But in 2011 alone there were at least three directors who had the courage to do that.
