You should be able to reach the $10 cashout when you have about 300 posts. To be efficient, you should have two responses per thread--the first is your own response to the original poster and the second is a comment to somebody else's response on the same discussion.
Starting lots of discussions is not much faster than if you just respond to other people's discussions. In my experience, just responding to other people's discussions is a fairly reliable way to earn here at myLot.

never really thought about responding to someones response. That is a great way to get your total up a bit quicker. Thanks for the advice. How much have you earned from MyLot. Do you reach payout on a monthly basis?

I've probably earned about $40 from myLot and may have cashed out three times. The first time was about $10 and the other two times, I got a little more when my balance was carried forward to the next month.
That was two years ago when earning online was still a curiosity for me. I just wanted to prove that there was indeed money here and from my other moneymaking experiments. Anyway, myLot accounted for probably half or more than half of what I earned that year.
I'm more into blogging now and going for the big bucks so I have different plans for myLot.
P.S. After I cashed out the third time, I got introduced to online games on Facebook so, for about a year, I was absent from myLot.

Hahahah! Facebook games are really quite addictive...
I've heard a lot of people saying that blogging gives a bigger chance to earn, but I still don't understand how they do it. Maybe you could give me some tips...?

First of all, quality over quantity - never forget that.
And then, in a really rough calculation, if you want to earn $10/month from myLot, try to respond in 30-40 discussions every day. The indicator is the number besides your name. Try to increase it by 30-40 everyday.
Again, don't forget about quality..
And also use myLot search as your main search engine. Use normally, never misuse that. The rewards might help to increase your earnings..

varier nice suggestion but mylot pay on overall activity of full day not only on the responses or discussions because some time I post 50 to 60 responses and gets only 35 to 40 cents. I am laughing whenever use search because I got 2 times award once in a month and only 1 cents and 5 cents.

What you can post in a day depends entirely on how much time you have and how quickly you can post good quality, valuable, original, relevant responses, comments and discussions.
'More money' is too vague. If you average 1 cent a day, then you will have to work twice as hard to earn another cent a day; if you earn 30 cents a day, you won't need to increase your efficiency very much at all to increase it to 31 cents.
Follow the instructions here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 and you won't go far wrong.

Being a bit more detailed with your discussions helps. Read through and respond to other discussions to get an idea of how they work. Please go and read the Faqs and guidelines because they will answer a lot of your questions and prevent you from starting discussions which might get deleted and cause you as well as everyone who responds to them to lose money.

Wow! 18,000 posts. Now, that is quite a dedication to myLot. I suppose you've earned a fair amount as well from posting all those comments all these years you've been here.
Anyway, is there some loyalty award or bonus for reaching that level of post count?

Hi angelako and welcome to myLot kabayan!
myLot doesn't work that way. You don't earn from people posting in discussions that you have started. You earn from each post you make. If you respond to the people who have posted in your discussions, you get credits. What matters most is you keep on posting, whether it's a new discussion or a response to anybody's discussion, to earn credits.

To directly answer your question, you have to post about 350 comments or discussions everyday to earn a 100 bucks in a month. The more quality you put in your post, the more chances you can get credits from them and they could even double if it's really good. Or you could just go to the "task" page and do simple micro jobs there if you just want to earn more money.
But I don't think myLot can be treated like an online job. If you really want to earn more money, read the discussions from other myLotters and maybe you could find an opportunity that you could really work on.
Some of the tasks I did offer good opportunity to earn online. You should try some of them too. ^_^

Hello,
If only that is easy but its not you have to sacrifice and do your some hard work because tjis is the way to have a lot of money. In mylot you can post even more if you can, you can answer discussion more than an average of user like 10 or more than if you can. Just what i told it is always depends on your hard work.
