Well last May I decided to go back to school and I have been taking online classes. I should be done this summer with my AA and in the fall I will be attending a university. I like online classes so far because it does not mess up my work schedule and I do not have to take time off of work. Some of these basic classes it is good to do online because I would not like to take them at campus like Biology, Religion, etc. So far I like online classes but I know I don't study as much as I should because I have the book there when I take quizzes. However I do want start going on campus when I attend the university. What is your opinion about online classes/learning?

My take on online classes is rather simple. Its not for everyone but it was most certainly for me. I tend to rather like not having to work at the pace of everyone else. The homework is right there at the beginning of the week, you have to turn it at the end, take the quizzes, all that stuff, study for the finals, and everything along that. I liked that because I could get my work down by Thursday and had more three day weekends.
Of course it will vary. And some people work better with a rigid, traditional process, such as going to a regular traditional schools. I did well in them, but I just felt like there was too much wasted time there. Others would disagree, but I like to pace myself at my own rate and not wait for others to catch up with me. Online classes really offer that but you have to have great time management skills which is something that many people lack.

I was supposed to do some online classes this month.
I already have my BS degree, and a few years ago I wanted to get a certification for a program that I was into. I had to finish 45 credits/units, and after 28 credits I had to stop (because life happened). That was 5 years ago.
Anyway, after getting an extension approval last summer, I was happy to find about 9 credits that I could take online. I like it as it doesn't have to mess up my schedule too.
Unfortunately life happened again, and I have not taken the classes yet.

It doesn't matter whether you are taking online classes or not as long as in that way you are learning. It is ease in you part since you don't have to take other unrelated subjects in a usual way of learning. In online classes, you are focusing in your subject that you are taking and not being disturbed by the environment around you. I hope you are also having fun.

There is nothing wrong taking classes via online. There is not much difference. All the more it will be convenient for you because you save time and effort going to and from your regular classes in school. Besides, you can take or schedule on your own pace same with the instructor. Both of you agree as to what time you start the lesson. You also save on money. Online classes are cheaper than in a university. I know because I sometimes conduct my classes online. Taking quizzes by opening your books is not being honest to yourself.Even if the teacher doesn't see it more or less she or he knows.

Online classes requires you to be an intelligent and responsible individual, otherwise it's not your thing. The main reason is that you don't have an instructor physically present to help and teach you the material that you need to learn. Most of the content will be self taught. This requires you effort and intelligence. Secondly, most assignments and tests will be done online, you must adhere to the schedule for these things or you'll be missing out on a lot of points. This requires you to be responsible for your own online class. This is how online class is in America atleast.

Online classes might be good for those individuals who are self motivated.I am pursuing a distance education course. After a few semesters ,I feel very less motivated.I am studying less compared to earlier when I attended school.I realized that going to campus on time and attending classes actually made me feel motivated.
Its better than studying alone. After sometime, studying becomes boring, because no one is around.I have started missing my classmates as well as teachers. You might keep in touch with your peers. That will help you if you would like to pursue online classes further.Try to be honest and keep studying.Best of luck for your studies.

As you know i took my entire AA online and never took a class on campus. I find it weird to go to college classes and with me i learn better in my own environment. I find it more comfortable and your at your own schedule. Of course you have assignments and quizzes to do and they have to be turned in on time and what not but i still find that taking online classes is easier your not messing up your schedule and your not wasting your gas or wear and tear on your car of course.
Now you can also take online classes at universities as well. Kesier i know offers online classes for bachelor and what not if that is what you are looking to do. I think that would be the best for you and you should look into and i wish you the best of luck and keep me updated on waht you think you will want to do.

There is nothing wrong with online classes. But I prefer to learn in school because I will learn online I find it to demotivating. Learning online can save you a lot. No need for an allowance because you can stay at home.

I absolutely love online classes. I took my first two last summer and then in the fall I took 3 more. They're a lot more convenient because I can do the work whenever I want and I don't have to worry about getting to a class on time. Online classes also let me work more and they don't really interfere with my life too much.
You just have to be disciplined and make sure you do the work. YOu're right about the tests, I don't really study that much because I'm able to have the book right there with me. But I also noticed that taking tests online is a lot less stressful than in a classroom. Some people may not like them, but I prefer taking classes online.
