I am looking for a job outside of my home for abt 3 hours a day through the week. What kind of job can I do? I am thinking of maybe cleaning or housecleaning, but does anyone else have any other ideas? Thanks.

You could get a part time job doing retail. I know many employers including mine will allow for a 4hour shift minimum. The only hard part is this time of year most retailers are getting rid of their extra staff since the holidays are over. You could maybe try to deliver newspapers, I knew someone who did it in the wee hours had her kids in the car and just drove her route.

I forgot you could also do in-home healthcare. Some agencies train you and are very flexible.

Funny, I was thinking of this one today. Especially for elderly people.

Cleaning is perfect or like a friend of mine she does ironing, but I thin k to do that you really have to like ironing as it is such a tiring job...

I have a friend who got sub contracts to clean the bank and the park offices recently. She gets paid about 20 an hour to do it...and it takes her 2 hours a day between the two places. She also does house cleaning for people...and she sub bus drives (she can choose who she says yes or no to...so chooses her own hours)

Work three hours a day cleaning building is fine, or may be selling products for three hours a day may sound like another good idea for a part time income too. Since spending only three hours a day is not going to drain a person physically, i will say doing some manual/blue collar job may not sound so bad for an office type of person.

Couldnt you sit and write some articles? Try iwriter, mturk, freelancer, odesk, textbroker, constant content. :) I mean, it doesnt make sense three hours invariably means you gotta travel some place. You incur gas charges, and lose some time. You might as well do something that would be a cake walk for you. Baby sit may be, and you could combine baby sitting with content writing. You want to go out, right? Go to another person's house make the kids study while parents are out or something. Do your content writing while kids do their homework. Just a thought.

There are many opportunities outside and aside from making money online. If you are looking only for 3 hour job, then you must search for those employers who are interested on you. Maybe cleaning somebody's house and making laundry could be part of it. Just make a deal.
