Do you like go shopping alone?

Hi Archaiwy, I like going shopping with my friends at times..but I really like going certain places alone...I like being on my own schedule...one of my biggest peeves is waiting on others.. I really have no patience..its terrible so I have to condition myself when I go out shopping with my friends...because you don't want to be in the company of friends and be rude...it its all good... When I feel it, I shop alone, but I love spending time with my couple of friends,,, they are great friends and we really do have fun even at our age....LOL....

He he, I don't mind one bit. Unless I need to shop and my friends want to see me - then it's fine. But usually I like to be able to browse and some of my friends are a little too impatient to sit there alongside me while I try on a million different shirts. For example. LOL. I enjoy the company only if we are all in the same kind of shopping mood - and that's rare enough!

Yes I do! In fact I prefer to shop alone so that when a friend invite me to shop with her I always find reasons to decline. I won't enjoy shopping if I am with someone because I don't want to keep anyone waiting or annoyed over my meticulousness when shopping. I am also one person who shop till I drop so I don't think I need a companion who can't stand shopping till closing time. If I have a companion we need to separate while shopping. I'd do mine alone while he does his own alone as well. and we will just meet again when it's time to go home.

I used to go shopping by myself. I don't do shopping a lot with another people, because I got an experienced I had shopped with someone and we wasted all day time just looking around without buying anything. I was really disappointed with her, because we wasted all time just for nothing, so I would never shop with another people.

For me it is still the best that I shop alone. I don't want others to dictate me what I should buy. When I am with my mother, she complains that I don't know how to choose the right dress for me. She thinks she's right. However, I also want to go with my mother because financially, she will be the one to pay for it.

i prefer gong shopping alone, or better, to shop online ! i believe it is such an stressing situation to go shopping with more than one person, because you'll always end up in different places viewing different stuff, and you'll start quarrelling with the other person because no one ever has enough !

i think i like shop by my self.. i dont like another people who always accompany me when iam shopping..

yup. Because i d0nt want to be disturbed while i'm carefully ch0osing the stuffs that i have to buy. Oftentimes when you have somebody with you in sh0pping, he/she asks you to go there, look at there or get easily bored with your shopping and telling you to buy it or buy what you dont need just to go after where he/she wants to go. Its kinda annoying so i choose to shop alone and enjoy searching the quality stuffs that will satisfy me.

I like both. Go shopping with others or just me alone. It depends on the situations. I like to go shopping with someone accompany me because we can share views and opinion about the stuff with others. I don't like words like,'why you bought this, we don't like this and that' and so on. I bought things and groceries for the family so need to make sure it fulfill everyone wishes. If we buy things for others better they go shopping with us, but if I just want to buy for myself, it is okay without someone accompany me. But with friends and sister with me it is much better!(^^)

I enjoy shopping when I'm with family or friends. It's not really my thing to go shopping alone unless it's necessary.

Either is ok for me when i'm doing shopping.Friends may help giving me some advices for the clothes and anyway,it is ok for me to go alone.Meanwhile,i do it fast since no body around me and i can really made my decision fast.lol,girls may all love doing that.lol,thanks for sharing this topic.

Yes dear friend, I always like to go shopping alone because I can buy anything what I want. So, I would like to go alone for shopping not with parents.

Hello archaiwy :) yeah I prefer to go shopping alone, I will give me more time to choose the stuff I want to buy. I don't need to wait someone or walk slowly with them. My time will be more effective when I do it alone. sometimes going shopping with friends will make me confuse and forget what I was going to buy when I arrive home. I only go shopping with friends that have the same hobbies and taste in stuff :)

oftentimes i find myself shopping alone, and i enjoy it. It's not that i don't have friends or i don't want to be with them, rather, when you are alone your free from pressure, pressure that your companion might get bored or tired strolling around whenever you can't immediately find the stuffs that you want to buy. And when you're alone you can manage your own time, and have a total control of your choice of style. It also trains us to be self-reliant, to be able to do and decide things on our own. Moreover, it's also important to have a time alone, to know your self more. But ofcourse, i always enjoy shopping with my girl friends as well! :)

I pretty much agree with you. Sometimes my husband wants to go grocery shopping with me. I always ask him, even though I'd rather go alone. He is pretty much home bound (mostly his choice), so a trip to the grocery store is an outing for him. However, I always pay for it when he goes. The amount we spend is about 1/3 higher. It takes longer, although I have not done as much comparison shopping as I usually do. He has finally caught on that we spend more when he goes, although I've never said anything about it. Now, if it is something he wants from the hardware store, I much prefer that he go with me, no matter what amount is spent. I have, during all the years we've been married, gone to the hardware store or even to the lumber yard for something he wanted but didn't have anything but a general idea of what he wanted. Sometimes, I didn't even have a general idea. Shopping with a girlfriend is fun, usually. If I 'm going for one specific thing and have a pretty good idea what I want, I would rather go alone.

I hate to shop and avoid it if at all possible. When I have to go I would rather be alone. I used to go shopping with a friend and she would want to look at everything in the store, and I just want to get what I need and get out.

I like going shopping alone, to go at my own pace. i could speed thru or slow down and take my time if there is something important to buy.

As a guy, I like shopping alone. Most likely, I would already have in mind what I want to buy, and which store I want to buy it from. I get in, and get out. I don't like going from store to store just to pick one item.

I don't like shopping at all, point blank, end of story. If I absolutely need to shop I prefer to go alone because I can get it done faster. My husband doesn't get it at all because he LOVES to shop. At one point in our relationship he might even have qualified as a shop-a-holic. I guess we balance each other out... Since he's good at it and has great taste he'll hook me up with clothes and shoes while he's out.

i absolutely like going shopping by myself because you don'y have to worry about anyone talking to you etc.
