Yesterday somebody asked me what my favorite show is now and after a lot of thought realized that show had changed. Some people know just how much I loved Perry Mason and Monk that you would think they were still the highest. I have to admit that this season there are a few shows that really have made me happy to watch television. Vampire Diaries has been great and the new show Once Upon A Time have been must see television for me. Which one do you like more Vampire Diaries or Once Upon A Time? The casting is excellent for both and they air on different days. One on Sunday and the other Thursday. What is your favorite show now?

Monk is at the very very top of my list as well!! I didn't like Once Upon A Time but I wanted to like it. I'm a TV fanatic and my top favorites of all time are Monk, The Wonder Years, Mad Men, Peep Show, Freaks and Geeks. Those are at the very top of the list but I have so many other shows I love.

I watched Wonder Years and thought the show was great. Several people have suggested I check out Mad Men, so will do so soon. Thanks for the reply.

The little boy on Once Upon a Time was on Mad Men until this season after he decided to take the ABC show. But you probably already knew that.

he was the one who said all the bad stuff about January Jones. He said everybody else on the set was so friendly but she took it very seriously and was cold to him. He even warned the next person that was going to play the son about her. Then someone else, I think John Slattery said that wasn't true and she was just getting into the role. I have a feeling the boy was right about her though but her coldness works for Betty.

I was a big fan of Monk until I saw the last show which I didn't feel was up up the rest of the series. I haven't watched it since. I like NCIS now, which I often watch reruns of. I used to similarly be big on Stargate SG1. Of the new shows, I like Person of Interest and Terra Nova, plus second year show Blue Bloods.

I love Blue Bloods also and Person of Interest. Both have excellent casts and I watch every week. Many know I watch NCIS on the USA Network in reruns and enjoy them. Its interesting to see the guest stars like Robert Wagner. Thanks for the reply.

Monk really tells me its alright to be different. I wash my hands a lot, so understand that challenge in life. The water is another that I have had for years. Talk about an expensive way to live. In my case. I drink Sparklett's and have a water cooler. I didn't think Once Upon A Time would become a must see show, but Jennifer Morrison has me hooked. She and the little boy together are wonderful. Thanks for the reply.

I loved Kyle XY and was sorry to see the show leave the air. The actors worked so well together and really liked each other. I have watched many episodes of Kitchen Nightmares and will continue to watch. Thanks for the reply.

I don't watch Once Upon a Time although I love their casting. Jennifer Morrison and Ginnfer Goodwin are great actresses. I'm glad to see Jennifer Morrison on something that gives her a bigger part than on her previous roles. I just watched Surviving Christmas, a movie she did in 2004. Not releveant to this discussion, but it reminded me how much I liked her. But I love The Vampire Diaries. I keep telling my sister to watch it but she won't. I got her to watch Supernatural and she likes it, but she won't try Diaries. What did you think of last night's episode? I think Stefan would have really driven off that bridge. Of course I think he would have saved her from drowning, but I think he would have gone off. And as for what is in the coffin, I think it is Klaus's mother, Esther. I realize she wasn't able to be a vampire because she was a witch, but I think somehow they preserved her. I realize they showed a flashback of her being buried, but I'm going to stick with Esther. What do you think? And do you think Bonnie is as annoyingly judgmental as I do? The Vampire Diaries is my favorite show now, and when all is said and done it might end up being my favorite TV show ever. But if I had to pick my favorite of all time it would be The Golden Girls. I have a feeling VD will eclipse that.

The Golden Girls was amazing and will always be one I love to view. The ladies truly were all gifted and really played their roles so well. Betty White is one of my favorite actresses. Vampire Diaries has really done well. I'm sure Stefan would have driven off the bridge and saved her from drowning. Thereis no way this show is going to air without her and she just won an award. I agree Ester is my choice for the coffin and think the flashback was to keep us watching. No real opinion about Bonnie don't watch the show to see her, but bring back Jeremy. He is my favorite on the show and I really enjoyed watching his grandfather for many years. Steven Q McQueen was wonderful on Everwood and I have been following his career.

I wonder if Steven got another role and they wrote him off to give him a chance to go do it. But I think we would have heard about that if that were the case.
