what is the lacuna behind Indian Cricket Team?

Reason is simple,two guys who are captain and vice captain of our team has been big failures in test cricket.Sehwag struggles in all forms of cricket played outside subcontinent while Dhoni who is a brilliant captain and player in limited overs cricket ,is a below average test player.First of all these two should be out and a new captain who has test cricket on top of his priority list and couple of youngsters should be brought in.I am sure India has enough talent and money to regain the old touch.Next tour of India outside subcontinent is in December 2013 ,its a lot of time to rebuild,but changes should start happening immediately after this tour.Lets see what BCCI and selectors do.

I simply think the lacuna is very simple. Our batting line up is aging and the reflexes are getting slower. Unfortunately, we do not have the youngsters to back this great line up. So we are struggling. This is the second overseas tour where we have struggled big time!! Cheers! Ram

Hello ChoukseyMK , I don't think there is that kind of a problem in the team. All those rumors about Indian team is nothing but some media creations. I think the team does not get much instructions and playing tricks from the coach and staffs .

Really it is the worst performance of the Indian team in the recent times. Earlier India had a nightmare in England, now it seems India will have the same here in Australia too. If they loss the series by 4-0 then it will be another poor performance by the team.

My suggestion is not for Indian team but for BCCI to make fast bouncy wicket in domestic cricket so that at least upcoming players can be comfortable in playing fast pace. I cant understand when they will learn from their mistake.
