Money begets money as they say and money is the root of all evils as what I've heard, do you agree to that? Money makes the world go around, money can't buy happiness but it can buy anything, money is everything, money can buy the world, etc etc. What about you? How do you define money? Is it important in our lives? Of course yes but to some its not. How? Because right now in this generation I can see and feel that money is everywhere and it talks. How true it can be? People are doing bad things in order to have money. I feel saddened...

Money. A word that will make many people go crazy over. They will do all kind of thing to earn more money. But sometimes, people get too engrossed in earning money that they forgot to enjoy their life. They became money slave. Yes, money is important, in fact, very important. Because we need money to buy all our daily food, pay our daily expenses and monthly bills. Having enough money every month, or a little bit more every month is enough to get us by in life, and also, saving an amount of money for rainy days too. So, to answer your question, how important is money in our lives? It depends on each individual and their thinking.

Lets face it money pays the bills. Its for the love of money is the root to all evil. Some will do anything to obtain it and there goes the evil. Some will steal or kill for money. I want to earn money in a legit manner. If I can earn money online than that's great great, if I can earn it in employment than that's awesome. Money is important but in order to obtain it you must put God first.

Money - Money plays an important role in our life. People tend to work hard to earn money for their living. Thus, money is really a part of our everyday needs.
good day early3, with reference to your main topic discussion, in life, money is one of the top necessity. people tend to work to earn money for their living. hence, man cannot live well if he/she does not have any money to spend for his/her basic needs. and these are some of the reasons why money is really important. well, as you have said, money is the root of all evils. it maybe true to some but false to many. hence, it will just becoming the root of evil if money was being misuse and not properly spend. and to add up, as you have mentioned, if money was used to do bad things, then, it will turn up as a root of evil doings. thus, in life, there are general rules, wherein, money can be the root of all evils. but in every general rule, an exception always follows and that it, money will only be the root of evils if this things are being used improperly. nonetheless, still, money plays an important role in our life.

Money is nothing if it is not useful to get what you really want. Money loses all of its value if after having achieved lots of it, you still wish to have something and you cannot get it by means of money, that's one of the greatest pains there are :(

Money in the absence of right values, can also push us into a purposeless existence. Leading an aimless life, people drift easily into bad habits and indulge in excesses. There is nothing wrong with having lots of money but the wrong use of money can lead to lots of problems. People work hard to earn money forgetting how to lead a meaningful life thus becoming a slave to money. We should be bright enough not to work for money but let money work for us.

Money is important to some extent, in my opinion. It's important in the sense that we need money in order to provide for our basic needs. But I would say that's about it.

money is important. it is only wrong when you become too dependent on money for happiness. it should be treated as just another commodity to allow ones self to trade for goods necessary to continue one's own survival. the moment you believe that money is the only thing capable of providing happiness for you, that's when you should stop and reconsider. reflect and refocus.

You have opened very good topic for starting. Money is the both worst and the best thing in our lives. It is the worst because we are slave of it, it is the best because everything has a price.

Money is very very important nowadays. Even you need money to go to the toilette :D. Money can't buy your happiness but money can help you to get what you want. If you get what you want, you'll be happy that's the rule. Money has the power to change everybody's life, that's true but one thing that money can't do is .............. buying your dignity :).

Well, definitely money is very important in our lives. What I think is that money should be a part of our lives but not the purpose of it!!!!!

money is somewhat important in our daily survival but it doesn't mean that we cant live without money! agree with that?? i grew up in a poor environment as i see if we talk about money itself because we don't have lot of IT but i still survive until the present. we encountered a lot of problems because we luck financial support but its also gave us the strong link that connect each other emotionally somewhat somehow.. the same thing with the people who have lot of those things (MONEY), but commonly the they don't have time for each other because they enjoyed the pleasure of that money. hope you get my point.. thank you!

People always say money cannot buy you happiness but I beg to differ. I am not saying you need money to live but to live a certain lifestyle you will need money. Personally I like going to sporting events, cruises, vacations, and going out on the weekends so I need money. I go on websites like these to make whatever extra money I can and also get over time at work when I can. Money is definitely important.

yes it is true.money are an important part of our lifes.and this is not a good thing.we neeed them to survive because this is the system that we live in.we work and run around all day long for the money, because we wish a better life,we wish to be able to give to the loved ones the best education, food, homes.the sad thing that for making money we sacrifice our family time, our health, nerves, and maybe even friends.we have to find an equilibru between making money and living our lifes.

In this day and age, unfortunately, money does make the world go 'round. If you look at cnn money on any particular day you will see countless articles discussing how much a couple needs to be saving in order to achieve retirement, pay for a child's college tuition, or save for a home. Depending on what makes people happy I would certainly say that money can buy happiness. At the very least we need money for our most basic needs: food, clothes, and shelter. Recently, on another social networking site I asked people to contemplate the minimum yearly salary it would take in order to pay off all debt, maintain finances (bills), save for retirement and college tuition for children, and have money left over for modest vacations, new cars ...ect. I also asked if people lived in a high or low cost of living area in the USA and the size of their family. The replies I received were very fascinating. On average, for a 3-4 person family living in a middle cost of living area in the US the replies ranged from $15k to $50k. This surprised me. Apparently some people are frugal and are able to live off of very little if needed.
