Recently I came to know about a product - Electronic Gas Saver. (http://www.deepakenergy.com - this is not my link, this is the official website of Deepak Energy Conservatives Pvt. Ltd.) One of my friends recommended it to me. He said it's working very well. He said it saves upto 30% of cooking gas. If it saves 30%, I think that's good. Normally the cooking gas cylinder lasts for 50 days for us. 30% means, another 15 days. If it saves like this, we would have saved 3 cylinders in a year. Have you heard of it?

Hey venkataraman I have not heard of these ELECTRONIC GAS SAVERS. But Im using Magnetic gas saver which consists of ring like strong magnet, when gas pass through the tube where that ring is fitted it makes the random motion molecule into the well streamed flow and there is somewhat saving of gas which is supplied to stove because of well stream flow, I fitted this at my home but don't actually how much it saving.Im using from last two months.

This Electronic Gas Saver also works on the same concept, Electro Magnetic waves. The electro magnetic waves align the random molecules and helps maximum utilisation of gas. I don't know where you bought it. How much it costs? The one I'm speaking of has 2 years warranty, patented, passed many tests at various institutions. Though I don't know authentically, it is said to be invented by a former NASA scientist, the MD of the company.

You can order it via the website itself. It will be delivered to you via courier. It is said that the MD of the company is a NASA scientist and that this product has got international patent too. There are lot of certificates awarded by various institutions, which can be seen on the website. I have ordered one and awaiting the delivery.

Hi Venky I have seen such adverts. And even saw one on exhibit at an exhibition last year. They are better known as Induction Cookers (I dont know why). They do claim that the LPG consumption is to decrease which in turn conveys that one will save money. But I am not sure how? I mean Electricity here is not free either and if they run on electricity, we will have to pay the bills towards that. Even the guy on that exhibition stall said that the simple heater they have consumes about 150 Watts per hour Though I am not good in Arithmetic, still, I think, the expenses will be nearly the same or even more when we use these electric gas Savers. It might sound good as we are saving LPG for other purposes but financially, I think it will be the about the same for all households (if you are to pay the electric bills of course). typically, a 14 Kilo LPG lasts for 3-4 months for the two of us. So it is surely going to be expensive if we think about Electric Gas Savers.

I hope that the price of that product is not very expensive or else, the savings will just go the machine. If it is a good product, it might be a good business here in the Philippines where GAS is really painful in the pocket.

Not heard, but it really useful for all of us. Price of cylinder hike everyday due to high demand and less production. Such type Energy Saver not directly save our pocket but if all used it, reduced the overall demand. If product are really useful automatically it spread rapidly as every one wanted to save...
