Hi,
this is mayur back on mylot little bit later.WISH you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012
I just came a cross a big damn problem these days, yeah as i mentioned in the title "i don't love to attend my college anymore as i usually do"
Recently my dad opened up a shop in our town and amazingly i got employed for that just to help my dad's business. I mean i do all the things that my dad would have been brought other person to do for him against some money. in short i am an substitute for that employer. by means of this i help my dad and he keeps awarding me for that.
But the fact is that due to high load of work i haven't been to my college since last month. now I am going too lazy to get back in college again. That was my vacation period when i started doing all this.
|| minus point is that i did petty dumb study last semester and got all subjects backlog, so i may be in depression as well. And also lemme told you as i mentioned in one of my thread, i don't like my college also||
So please can you sort out something that could probably help me getting back my confidence and lemme out off depression. Thanks for your time and thank you also for your much appreciating response.!
have a good day ahead....
ba bye..

Now firstly I would like to ask you what do you really want to do? You said you do not like your school, why do you feel so? Just because you were not doing well last semaster or you do not like to do the scientific reserch at all? If it is the first reason, do not mind it too much and you can change the situation with your hardwork. But if it comes out to be the latter, please review what is life you would like to lead carefully and go after it.

May be my mind have found so many reasons to not to attend college. One thing is sure, my college campus is never so well, i mean when i was in junior college that was pretty cool and the current one is really an dumb a**. The crowd out here is so less just don't feel like i am in a college, instead feels like 'm in bathroom.
You can't believe how much discipline, rules needs to be obeyed here, once you enter the campus, 3:30PM is only the time you are allowed to leave never b4 that! this is really a f**king S**t....wish i could have left a chance to change my college!
Being a part of activities is prohibited out here! even you can't attend any workshops by university during college time.
My campus is HELL!

It does really not like a college as what you said...it just like a nursery school:

thank god, some one is there who understand my problems.
here students are not treated like adults or college students, but treated as Nursery school children's. The way of developing students here is lot more different than all over the world. Here a student is supposed to do the home work, no matter if he/she really doesn't understand what that home work defines. We are forced to do the things which usually comes under education but apart from this they forbid us from doing any other activity that could possibly develop a new way of thinking.
I would love to ask you a question if you ever gonna answer this ?
How will you feel, when you don't have friends in college as well as near by your home and not even while going to school or college ?
Description- I do have lot's of friends, that's not problem. But everyone loves to talk to new peoples, new friends. considering my class which i joined direct in 2nd year, others are regular say from 1st year. So basically all these peoples are new to me. Everyone lives in box frame, never feels free to talk to newbies. This is one part, even it happens in case of teachers also. in short everyone is narrow minded here. That is also a reason for my depression.
I think discussion is been so long, so i stop it here. But it is really what i am thinking and of course it matters.

thank you,
mayur

Hi there mayur71091 !!
Try going back to collage. You know when you finally got tired of your jib you will wish that you can study again.Studying is easier than working. If your studying you have your allowance given to you by your parents but if you are already working you will not be given money becoz they think that you can already support your self.

I guess you just have to maybe get your books out and put some time aside to get back into study, but if you keep doing what you are doing at least learn from it and maybe look at that sort of thing as a future career for yourself, use everything you do in life as a life experience, I hope you get the answers you are looking for..

it is unfortunate that you fell like this. studying really takes a lot of effort if one wants to succeed in life. the current job you're doing is just a distraction for you to achieve greater things. do not lose sight of the greater horizon waiting for you once you finish studies. i wish you the best in your decision.

actually being succeed is later part but for now at least i need to make my mind to attend college regularly. And no i am not distracted for the gr8er things but what i like is to help my dad's new business, in fact the financial status is very low in my home and hence it forces me to keep that doing.
May be later i would be attending college (i don't know really if i would). The day's needs to be passed, cause until our financial status got some strength, i think i am(my mind) not gonna agree to attend college.

I also lost my chance to finish my study at the university due to me being lazy. If I remember that I feel disappointed and blame myself for being so lazy. Try getting rid of your laziness. You have to force yourself to back to college. Many people who are not clever but dilligent are successful in their study.

I been through the same situation as you, but it was on the beginning of my college. I hated the new place, the new city, the classes..gladly, I had made great friends in the first semester. Even though, I leave the course for a semester and had a vacation only for me relax and not think about college again. After this time, I decided to come back and now is so much better. Maybe you should do that, take a time for you and see if the course that you do is really what you want.

For starters, being goal oriented will get you the farthest. Figure out what you want to do in the future (Such as being a business owner or CEO of a major company) That will make you more motivated to go to class and earn your degree. Secondly, FRIENDS. I know it's not always easy to make friends in college. Especially if it's a college you're new to in a new town; but friends can actually make going to school fun. Think about going to class, then going to a ball game or out to eat afterwards. It'll give you something to look forward to after class. If you don't like the college you're attending, I would strongly advise you to transfer schools (If any way possible). Try looking into other colleges and see which ones you can attend.
