i ever felt it adhyz... i saw an accident in front of my eyes. it's between two motorcycles who hit each other. the first rider is a boy and the other is the girl. both of them were careless i think. but the girl got the worst condition. her leg was burnt because it laid down under the exhaust. nobody helped her at that time. she was crying and shouted for help. i ran to help her spontaneously. i tried to move her motorbike. but it doesn't work. i was wondering why do the people around there just stunned? i shouted to the old man to help then he helped me to move the motor bike. i got panic and felt scary to see her condition. she's a senior high school student, i know how terrible that condition for her.... so i can imagine what should i do if there is a great accident like what you had seen

My feeling about that is kind of numb now. Oh well, unfortunately, I ever witnessed accidents right in front of my eyes for more than 5 times.
Most of the accidents happened because of carelessness. Please people, be more careful when you're driving..

Even I don't want to see someone else hurt, but by the time someone being careless on the street, actually they deserve for that accident. But sadly, mostly that accident is not only included himself, but also someone else! Let us be more careful, for our own good sake, and also for another people's sake..

hi adhyz oh I can sympathize with you as its schocking to see someone hit by any kind of a car and hurt. I had somewhat the same experience a number of months back. my best friend was driving me to the grocery store whemn we stopped for a red light. A big SUV canm
barreling ou t , made a left turn, did not see the lad on the bycyle until she hit him. my friend nelda gasped"Oh my did you see that, she hit him, oh my =God." I replied" yes, he went up in the air but he is walking off oh no he collapsed on the sidewalk. oh my goshP
Adhyz we both thou ght about that off and on while we were home in bed, wondering how he fared, when we came back from the grocery stor'an ambulance was loading the young man into the ambulance so
he was badly hurt. She just never looked at the cross walk and just turned into it hitting him broad side. he was lucky he was not killed.I hope your victim got some help too. it sure stays with you
does it not to see something like that. you feel helpless too.

Most of us who have travelled in traffic for years have seen one or more accidents.
The visual always stays with you, though as the years go by it becomes more and more dream like. At least that is how it has been for me. Blessings

Recently,I have seen one by myself, too. It was one that involved a taxi and a private car.But what really made me shocked was that I saw clearly one of the drivers got a stick in his hand.I left with thinking that a fight can't be avoided.

Seeing that kind of accident is really terrible and traumatic, and if I were in your shoes, maybe I can't sleep too and still remember what I see.Same thing happen yesterday here,I saw in the news about a truck that hit a motorcycle, a jeep and a police outpost which kill five people including an eleven years old child who was just walking and going to school. The CCTV caught the whole accident which is really terrible and shocking. There are also lots of people was injured.
Sad to say, there are really lots of accident occurred in the streets that we won't really expected.

I'm guessing I wouldn't have handled it better than you did. I'm not a war veteran. I could have looked for help, I'm guessing that's all I could have managed. I'm also not used to seeing accidents like those so I wouldn't know how I would react if that actually happens.

I hate such driver of hit and run accident. They are simply irresponsible and if they had knocked someone down, they should help instead of fleeing for fear of being caught. That goes to show how selfish some drivers are. He's lucky that the victim didn't die because of his reckless driving and all the more he has no reason to run away. I can't imagine if he's the victim instead and how would he feel then.

Hit and run accidents are common in Indonesia. Upon hitting they flee instead of giving help to the victim. They flee because they are afraid of being caught by the police and they don't want to be responsible for the accident he has caused. Most drivers are poor people, I think. If they surrender, they will have to be ready for money.

It is ok here...You have alreay done quite well about the situation since that your car had stopped the accident car and force the bad driver to help the poor man, if not for this behavior the driver would have escaped from his duty and penalty and that will be much barder for the injured man to seek for help. So my friend, please calm down and believe you have done a good deed. Wish the poor guy can be better soon.

I would be so shocked too if I witness an accident like that. How bad that the car who hit the motorcycle rider didn't even helped the guy. I hope someone had took his plate number so it will be reported to the authorities.

I think you have done well and stop the driver who tried to escape. Now you should relax and stop thinking about the incident. I know it is hard to not think about it because you are under a mild shock and this is natural, i would feel the same if i were you. After a few days you will feel better i am sure about it.

Never nice to see someone get injured in an accident. I witnessed a cyclist get hit by a car from behind and to this day if I think about it I can still see him somersaulting through the air, the crushed rear wheel of his bicycle and the scrapes all over his body while he sat beside the road being attended to. Fortunately he really wasn't hurt badly considering the spectacular crash.
Your nightmares are understandable. My brother saw a woman in an accident who suffered a broken back. She survived but he had nightmares for weeks. Give yourself time to deal with it. Talking about it here is wise. It should help.

Hi adhyz: Oh, that's really shocking. When I know that an accident has happened in the middle of the highway, I try my best not to see it because I know these images will remain in my mind and that I will be affected.

I have the same experience a long time ago when I was in junior high school. I saw a girl crossing the street (actually I also crossed the street but 5 meters away from her). While she walked, a motorcycle hit her directly and the driver also fell and slip away for around 10 meters. I could not response for 1-2 minutes. But since there is no blood scattered, I just went away and not so traumatic.
Wish you can erase the bad memory.

Woah, That's not a good thing to see. Well, I hope that victim is ok right now. The bad driver was trying to get away? good thing they've stopped him. I haven't seen an accident before, if i do, i would try to help since im a nurse, and i will also call for help. I hope the victim didn't die or something. You really did panicked ha? ok just calm down. Let's just pray for the victim my friends.
