Some time ago my right hand was painful suddenly without any reasons. I tried to use some medicine but it didn't work. Then finally I had a swimming and it was cured by itself. I think that the swimming can solve some problems like backache, shoulder ache and so on. As we can move our whole body when we are in the water and therefore it is good to the nerves. And then the pain can be gone.

There are many exercises in water you can do to limber a body up. They have aquadics here for older folks. Actually any age. I think it is very good for the nerves.

I think that any person in muscular pain can feel better by doing some swimming in a pool. I believe that going in a warm pool is best for the person. The body can feel terrible in water that is too cold for comfort. I like to have a go in the warm to hot spa pool. It is similar to a jacuzzi. I am sorry that you had a painful right hand. It was a shame the medicine didn't make it better. It is amazing that swimming at the pool made it totally well again. Swimming is great for aching hands, shoulders, a bad back, aching legs and aching feet. Today I went to the spa pool and the dancing class. I didn't have enough time for swimming due to my car being very iced up this morning.

hi youless! i agree with you my friend. my niece has this serious asthma condition. she was always in and out of the hospital several times a year. one day, her doctor advised her parents to bring their daughter who was 4 years old that time in a swimming therapy session. they were also advised that during summer, they bring her to the beach every morning where air is more fresh. they did as what they are told and we have noticed that my niece's hospital confinement due to asthma has lessened each year. and now that she is 13, she just got a minor asthma attack once in a span of 4 years already. the doctor said that swimming can help her lungs get stronger and the breathing tract/passageway muscles more relax and not tight and constricted.
take care and blessings to you!

Yes it is true, a lot of doctors will recommend swimming as a great aid to help people with various health problems, both physical and mental, I was told by my doctor many years ago when I was first diagnozed with depression that swimming was a good activity for me to help or any exercise, as I have said before I find swimming really boring, so I go to the gym instead. Swimming is gentle on the body and doesn't put the body under a lot of strain and can help tremendously, not just seen as healthy exercise for fat burning but also for body recovery.

You are right, swimming has many benefits for our health. You are lucky because you live in a warm place and you can enjoy swimming all year around.
You know, i have never learned how to swim until now. In the college, we have several classes of swimming, but i am too timid, and have not succeed in grasping the skill of swimming.
Swimming, especially winter swimming has so many good sides on our bodies:
Benefits of winter swimming: It can improve cardiovascular functions. Low water temperature stimulates blood circulation, therefore enhances the blood vessel flexibility. There are very few people who suffer from arteriosclerosis or high blood pressure in winter swimmers. Winter swimming can also improve one’s immunizing power. Matters needing attention in winter swimming: Though more and more people realize the benefits of winter swimming and join this activity, not all groups of people are suitable to enjoy it.

I don't really know if indeed swimming could cure those health issues you mentioned based on my experience nevertheless I believe swimming is the best exercise for asthmatic people. I know one person who has been healed from asthma after engaging in regular swimming. I think swimming is good for the lungs and good for the heart as well.

Hi!
Swimming is really a good exercise, because it required you to move your whole body when compared to others exercise that only train part of your body. But to cure some health problem like backache, I don't really know how effective will it be. I have backache sometime, but I also swim occasionally, but my backache still remain. So, I believe it will be depend on what kind of situation or it is just coincidently cure your hand.

You said it, pal! Swimming is definitely a very good exercise. And i tried to learnd it during my college life but failed. However, i had not got nothing in my swimming class. Every time i srambled from the pool, the level of water would drop by 1 meter at least. Yeap, i drank a lot filthy water. Have a nice day!
