It is Friday the 13th in my country! I noticed some of friends were not having some fun although it's Friday because they said it was Friday the 13th, the dooms day! I was just wondering why many of us were so afraid about this phenomena. Was it true, that something bad will happen within this day? Some of the people I knew also has a different belief about Friday the 13th. They said, this day will be their lucky day, based on some of their many reason that I cannot recall. For you, what would you think about this day? Do you have any extraordinary experience within this day? What are your beliefs about it?

This is what we call as "friggatriskaidekaphobia" - the fear/phobia of Friday 13th. And like any other phobia, in most case, actually that fear was coming without any logical reason. It totally depends on someone's mental state..
Personally, Friday 13th is just an ordinary day for me..
Oh, wait, there's one of my relative who celebrate her birthday at this Friday 13th.. Happy birthday to here..

Many people think that 13 is the worse number. To me, all numbers are the same and none influences me. This is the wrong belief that has been deeply rooted in many people's mind. Friday is also considered to be a scary day. Improve your belief to God who has created all in this world for us,the human beings, not the ghost that actually does not exist.

People in general, are a very superstitious lot and it is just another day for me. Then again, Friday the 13th is a day that pops up and everyone is like, "oh Friday the 13th". Meh, it's Friday, a good day, and I think that people are rather too hung up on numbers for my own liking. The number 13 is rather tied with being unlucky but really people are superstitious.
Still it is Friday, so that is a day for itself. I think today is going to be a good day. Naturally I don't believe in luck, one of the most foolish concepts ever concocted by the human mind. I do find myself amused at all of the people freaking out over Friday the 13th for various reasons. And there are three of them throughout the year 2012, so there will be much freaking out.

These are all superstitions and fears made by the people imagination.Always human had this tendency of creating myths, believed in supernatural phenomena and creating stories with his fantasy.I do not believe in that and i am not afraid crossing my way a black cat either...

When I was courting, many years ago now I had a vague feeling that Friday 13th was an unlucky day but not a firm belief. Then one Friday 13th in September I arrived at my girlfriends house to be told my prospective farther-in-law was in hospital. He had been on his motorbike coming home and had an accident broke his leg and had a facial fracture below his eye. How unlucky was that ?

Wasn't too sure before, but the Friday the 13th curse didn't end there. Father-in-laws leg took ages to repair and part way through the healing needed a bone graft. Many years later it was found that the blood circulation had not been perfect and the leg had to be amputated.
BEWARE FRIDAY 13th
