how to increase myLot reputation ?

hey guys i am new at myLot and i am very curious about knowing myLot. so today while answering a question in mylot , i seen a star above a user's name and when i moved my my mouse cursor onto it ,it shows a sentence like "mylot reputation 76/100".
so can anyone tell me about what is mylot reputation ?and how i can increase it? and is it helpful in way to increase my earning through mylot also?
if you have information about it then please share with me thanks.

Your star here is the reflection of your reputation here on MYLOT and it depends on the rating the other users give to your response and comments.
So the quality of your response/comment is the criteria which decides and makes people to rate you +ve and more +ves you get better is your reputation here similarly your reputation falls back when people give you -ve rating.

Simply said, always create the quality discussions and responses.
And then, because you are a new member, I highly suggest you to enrich knowledge about myLot by reading FAQ and guidelines. It will help you a lot to get know with myLot better. I believe the answers of most new members' question are already listed there..
