my dog barks at everything!

Same with me, my dogs also barks at anyone in the house except me and in everything. He don't like dogs, cats and other animals. He is a spoiled brat dog because of me perhaps. He hates my brother, my brother's wife and even my mother. My siblings and sister in law always makes fun of him in a funny way. I don't know what to do with him barking at my family members whom he sees every single day. He also barks when he hears noise or loud voice outside or even in our homes. He barks at my sister laughing out loud when she visits us. Such a barking dog, I try my best to keep him cool and stop him.

This has become a bad habit for her. I would get one of those anti barking collars, this gives a mild shock when ever she barks, It sounds cruel but is a very fast way to break her and if she starts to slip back into that habit it can be used again. Surely this is better then getting rid of the dog or being upset by her barking. When you are upset she feels this energy and yet she cannot tell exactly why you are upset, in the end you have two nervious, unhappy persons, one with two feet and the other with 4.

a good idea, which a friend of mine uses, on her 3 dogs, and works for all of them when the are barking, and like your dog, at everything, and that is to get a water pistol, fill it up with water and when the dog is barking, spray it, it works a treat. After a while u dont even need to spray, just point it at the dog and she will stop! Hope this helps and works, you could also try using any kind of spray bottle, but idk if it would work as good :) Best of luck! Hi samd87! Dogs are like that. Even our dog Harry barks at almost anything but will stop after some time. I recommend you watch Cesar Milan's Dog Whisperer. You can get a lot of tips from that show.
