If you are like me, growing up watching Nickelodeon as a kid, you might remember a lot about the classic Nickelodeon Shows like Finders Keepers, Doug, The Rug Rats and even more classic Nickelodeon shows. My favorite classic shows were Finders Keepers, Doug, and the Rug Rats. I remember a lot of those shows really well. If you grew up watching Nickelodeon as a kid, do you remember those shows? What were your favorite shows to watch? Do you miss watching them? Do you think some of the classic Nickelodeon shows will come back to Nickelodeon? If you like Nickelodeon as much as I do, you would probably have lots of memories of watching it. When you were a kid and you grew up watching Nickelodeon, did you have lots of memories when you watched it as a kid? If you did, what do you remember about that?

It sounds like you grew up in the 90's! I did as well! Some of my favorite shows I remember were: Rug Rats, Doug (LOVED LOVED LOVED Doug!! And his friend, I can't remember his name.. LOL!), Hey Arnold, Clarrissa Explains it All, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Rocko's Modern Life, and probably some others I can't remember at the moment..It's funny how engrossing these shows are as we're kids.. I watched an early episode of RugRats for fun one night at a friends house (we wanted to go down nostalgia lane) but it just wasn't the same. lol. (Of course, what do you expect?). I do remember these shows though. I doubt any of them will come back. Cartoons really aren't what they used to be in my opinion - from what I've seen. Of course it's been a good 10 years (at LEAST) since I've sat and watched a cartoon all the way through (and as we grow older, our perspectives obviously change over time..) But I seriously miss those days!!!! All the adventures that those darn Rug Rats would get into.... Doug had a crush on that one girl with the blonde hair (I want to say Patty?)... Helga in Hey Arnold had a shrine of him in her closet.... LOL. Man! Good times! lol

i was not able to watch nickelodeon when i was a kid. but i enjoyed watching their recent shows like spongebob squarepants, danny phantom, the legend of ang, etc. back when i was doing graveyard shift, i always watch these shows everytime i get home while eating my breakfast. i am not a kid anymore but i still enjoyed watching shows which are primarily intended for kids. i guess i'm still a kid at heart.

Oh, I know! They recently had a Back to the 90s thing, but not only was it not on the regular Nickelodeon channel, which I didn't have, it didn't air my absolute favorite - Hey Dude! I loved that show. A couple of those actors even ended up on other stuff. The blonde, Christine Taylor married Ben Stiller. I also remember You Can't do That on Television, and Fifteen, which starred a pre-famous Ryan Reynolds. Anyone else remember it?

I think that Nickelodean is doing something called "Back to the 90's" or something like that where they are bringing back a lot of the cartoons from that decade. Nickelodean shows were just the best and I do miss them. Even though they are bringing a lot of them back I'm not able to see them because I don't have cable. But I do remember a lot of the shows from that decade. I loved the Rugrats and the Wild Thornberrys. Doug and Hey Arnold were amongst two of my favorite shows. Clarissa Explains it all, All That (the original one that had Keenan and Kel), and so many others that I can't name right now.

Ooh, I wish I were that young as you :) I grew up with Disney and Sesame Street muppets. My son likes watching Nickelodeon and I had gotten the chance to see only one '90s shows - The Rug Rats. Hmm, but I think Spongebob is a late '90s show, isn't it? But I think the present Nick shows being aired are okay, too.

I love the old Nickelodeon! My favorite shows were Doug, Rugrats, Are you afraid of the dark, and hey arnold. I really miss these shows and the shows they have today aren't nearly as good as the old ones.
I know that on teen nick they play all of the old nickelodeon shows at midnight. You can also buy these shows on itunes. I wish they'd bring them back for good though, I really miss them.

I used to really like Rugrats, Roccos modern life, Rude dog and the Dweebs, and best of all Real Monsters. that was probably my favourite.
and that one that used to be on at about six ish, was it called Are you afraid of the dark? with the spooky stories.
they used to have some pretty good game show formats too.

I simply love cartoons and I really miss the old cartoons on Nickelodeon. Now that you mention it, I remember Rug rats, I just realized that they don't play that cartoon anymore. Times has changed so much and I reckon the old cartoons were way better compared to the ones now. I remember there was on a game on Rug rats and me and my friend would spend all day playing the game. The babies were cute too and it's adorable and how they communicate to each other. I can still remember the introductory song to Rug Rats.
I can't seem to remember all the characters though, I know there was a bold baby with braces, one with red hair and there was this blonde toddler who always thought she was boss of everyone else. It was a really cute cartoon.

Wow, I loved the shows back then. I remember Kenan and Kel very well and it used to be my favorite show.
And there was this game show about an ancient temple, with a huge talking head. Again, there was this Olympic like show.
There was this show about a girl who could talk to animals. And a guy whose head was shaped like a football.
Forgive me, I cannot remember names very well, but I loved those shows.
