Hello everyone I'll like to take you back. Back to when you were young and innocent. Do you remember chasing the ice cream truck with your one dollar in hand? When Toys R US had everything that you wanted. Days were filled with laughter and fun. The only sheet of paper you had to fill out was your homework. I know I'm dealing with people from all over the world. So try to relate the best way you can according to your culture. For those a little more mature try to tap in to your inner child. Do you sometime wish you could turn back the hands of time? Maybe to tell your childhood freind how much you trully love them. Or fix unmended fences. I know some time when I'm stress paying bills and working I wish I could be a kid again. Well ladies and gentlemen this discussion is your pass back in time to when you were a child. So share little stories with your fellow mylott freinds. For just one day your a kid again.

I am not wanting to go back at all. My actual childhood was not a good one. I like being older with a youthful attitude. I do enjoy toys and playing. I still love to color and running with my dog, throwing a ball and chasing it. I visit with neighborhood kids when they are skateboarding on the trail or scouting the drain off for minnows. I do not think I ever left childhood wonder or more correctly discovered as I grew up and found my own path in life to happiness. Youth should be perpetual and for me it is.

Hello Dorianna! Sorry to hear that your childhood wasn't good! Unfortunately not all of us have a good childhood! I myself my childhood wasn't all good. I've had some bad things happen to me. I just choose not to dwell on it.
Indeed youth should be perpetual! I agree 100%! It's good to remain child like through out life. It makes life a lot easier and fun. I feel I perpetuate my childhood through out my life. I still have dolls and still enjoy coloring. I'm just a big kid in an adult body.
I'm very happy to see that you find your own happiness in life.
Live your dream!
Thanks for sharing your story.
Cheers,
Francesca

Oh how I remember those days. I always waited for the ice cream truck to come. He passed by every summer night around the same time. And so did the good humor truck. I always yelled into the house, Mom, Dad, I need a dollar for ice cream. Then we would eat it and start running around again. Now I cannot even eat ice cream. And when we all hung out and rode our bikes, then when I got a little older, I used to jump ramps with my friends and my cousins. And we never wore helmets and never got hurt. Isn't that strange? I know if I were to do that now, I would probably kill myself. LOL. But then I became a teenager and thats when I should have changed some things. There are a few things I would have liked to do. But most of all, I would like to change the day I met my evil ex. That would have never happened if I went back and changed things. But the childhood memories are where it's at.

It is strange you never got hurt jumping over the ramps. Its strange all the things we did as children and got away with. If we do them now we would probabaly end up in the hospital. :-) Its as if when we were kids we have magical powers and we cant get hurt. I think its mostly our fearlessness that allow us to do all those things. When we become adults we have all those fears and doubts that prevent us from doing alot of things.

Toys R US still have everything I want too lol. I'm just a big kid with money. I do think deep inside we are all just kids. Yeah we get older and we mature as life teaches us different lessons. I trully believe age is nothing but a number. And your real age lay in how you feel.

A beautiful discussion indeed..
who does not want to be a kid?
well ya when we are kid we want to get older and be like our mother and our father..
But as we get older, we think back and go why did we even wish that!
It was better off when we were little kids, having no worries in the world..
Being our own boss, asking and wanting anything from parents!!
Just the genuine happiness and smile on our faces!!
Now everything seems so fake and unrealistic in life..
I wish to go back to the days, where my mom use to dress me up and then I use to pretend that I am not happy with it, until she calls me all the pretty names in the world and tells me I am her little princess!
The day where I made my first friend and immediately called her my best friend..
And held her hands and played hop scotch.. and ate ice cream together sitting on the staircase of our building..
The days where I use to run behind street cats, and go to my home and get some milk to feed them and sit there all day long watching them sip the milk from a broken cup that I took from my home..
The days where I use to wrestle with my brother, sometimes he use to sit on top of me and sometimes I use to pull his leg all around the house!!
The days where it just seemed I would never grow up, when the night use to fall my mother use to give me a kiss on my cheek and tell me she loves me and tuck me into bed!!
Why cant those days come back?
So innocent, full of hopes and dreams, happiness all around..
I'll trade anything to get those days back!!

Well acstually I'm a bit different as a kid I never wanted to get older. Things were a lot more easier. I'm with you I would do anything to get these days back. But unfortunately we cant get these days back no matter how bad we want them. All we have are memories. Thanx for sharing your story happy mylotting. :-)
