I posted this question on yahoo answers, but no one responded T-T Okay I'm creating a site where people can discover female singers of the world. Finding different music and different singers can be a hard thing when there are certain popular ones that are on tv. I think we are missing out on some great singers we need to know about!! but anyways so far i have american singers japanese singers british singers canadian singers korean singers chinese singers spanish singers of course i dont know much but i would love some input. are there some singers you would like to suggest??

Those aren't exactly types but rather nationalities of singers! You can just go to wikipedia and look up all the nationalities in the world for that. How about dividing them into rap, hiphop, folk, pop, opera, disco, classical, indie, etc. - you could even do that by nationality - have those subcategories!

Hello Jacutiepie, its a very nice thing that you are creating such a website. It will enable so many people to listen to the kind of music they have never heard previously. How about adding Indian singers to your site? There are so many Indian female singers, especially ones like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale who are known for their beautiful melodious voices outside India!

I would have said Japanese & Korean, but you already have those listed May I suggest that instead of just having them listed by the language the song is in, it could also be by genre: pop, rock, pop/rock, r&b, etc. (Unless this is supposed to be only one genre already.) I guess you could include a lot more languages/nationalities. I can't think of any singers in particular, but there could be Indian/Hindu, French, and Portuguese come to mind
