Does anyone here use Kickstarter to decide what to donate to?

I use Kickstarter all the time. It lets me find great projects to fund that would not know about if I didn't use the website. So far I've help fund a book, a film, a poetry project. It feels very communal because everybody gets together and chips in. We may not have much money separately, but together we can do much.
