Are you ready to go to Heaven????

Religion's description of Heaven is eternal peace and love. Religions claim one gets there after a lifetime of believing to spend an eternity of bliss. Are you really ready to go to Heaven?? Let's picture a place where all those worthy make it to Heaven. Anytime you get a bunch of people together what will happen?? CONFLICT. I can see the fussing and fighting as we speak. Mankind at their current stage of understanding is not ready. There is still too much to learn, too many Ego problems to overcome. Until mankind can overcome his nature to control, judge, blame, and rule, there will be conflict.Heaven will no longer be Heaven. The peace would be gone. That doesn't mean no one will go to Heaven. It just means more lessons are needed. There is much to know and understand. It will take many lifetimes before we can learn and grow enough to really be ready. Knowing this can help us all to make better choices and think before we act. The only thing that prevents mankind from creating a Heaven here on Earth is OURSELVES. OK, everyone, tell me what you think. Share your views.

God is in Heaven, and we, humans are on earth. God is holy and we, humans are unholy sinners. How then can we, humans enter the holy place of God? How can unholy humans live together with a Holy God? God will surely never permit an unholy and unclean human being to enter His Heaven. Holiness is therefore required to enter heaven. There lies the biggest problem of every human being that lives on earth because no one is holy, not me, not you, not anyone else. Everyone of us commit sins or wrongdoings everyday. To enter heaven, our sins must first be removed, we must first be cleansed and we must be made holy first. Holy for holy. But how can we be cleansed? We cannot clean our selves inwardly. We always have the tendency to think lustful thoughts, or evil thoughts or utter bad words, or judge and curse our fellow men, or commit other evil deeds, both in words and actions. So we humans are in big dilemma. We cannot face God with out present sinful, filthy and wicked inward condition. No outward good works or human efforts can remove the sin we have inside our hearts and thoughts. And if we die in this condition, surely we can never enter heaven for God will never accept us there. We are actually in big trouble. Fortunately for mankind, God provided the solution which we, human beings are powerless and helpless to solve this biggest problem of man, which is SIN. And that SOLUTION is JESUS CHRIST. Christ solved our problem of sin and sins. He took our sins, all sins of mankind, in his body and crucified them on the cross as it is written in the Bible. Christ removed our sins so that we can be accepted by God in His heaven. Yes, this is the GOSPEL, or good news preached by the 12 Apostles and by Paul, the 13th Apostle, the apostle to the Gentiles, and this is still the same GOOD NEWS that is being preached today. Christ removes our sins. All we need to do now as sinners is to believe in what Christ had done for all of us, and receive Jesus Christ in our lives as Lord and Savior. And the Bible says that when we believe and receive Christ, He comes into our hearts and lives in us, then He removes all the sins inside us, which we by ourselves cannot get rid of. Then with the indwelling Christ inside us, we are saved from Hell and accepted by God in Heaven. The truth is if Jesus Christ is living in us, we are already in heaven, spiritually, even though physically we are still here on earth. This is what The Bible teaches. I just summarize it for everyone to read. If you want to check the truthfulness of what I stated here, then read you Bible and check for yourselves. CHRIST is our only way to HEAVEN. Seek Christ, know Christ, believe Christ and receive Christ in our lives. To have CHRIST IS TO live FOREVER in HEAVEN.

You sure have a poor outlook on the human race. Can you see no good at all in anyone?? Further accepting Jesus doesn't keep people from choosing evil. Even preachers get caught doing things. Religion likes to create the problem so you must need them to supply the answer. God isn't hateful as the god you describe. He has a much better view of His children than you do. Everyone will know God's Unconditional Love not just christians. Religions would like people to think only they are important to God. This isn't the truth.

Heaven is not earth in a different location. We won't behave there as we do here on earth because the Tempter/Accuser will not be there to lead anyone astray. In my opinion what makes heaven heaven is the absence of the Tempter/Accuser. No longer will there be someone spouting peace and love while at the same time trying to get us to do things that are really against God's will and saying it's all right because this is how we learn. Also, the enemy will not be there whispering into our ears covetous thoughts that lead to all sorts of wrong behavior. There will also be an absence of guilt because the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ will have cleansed us from all unrighteousness. What man needs to learn is about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Putting God on an IQ level tells me you think we have the capability to become equal to Him. It just takes time and learning. Isn't that why you say we need multiple lives, because there's too much to learn in one life time? You are so woefully wrong in your thinking. God doesn't just have an incredible IQ, He has always been all knowing so never needed to go through any learning program. He has always been perfect and we're never going to be on His level. Do you even understand the meaning of "PERFECT?" God has never had any deficiencies. What do you have a problem with, that God is perfect, that He's righteous, or that we have to become righteous? Do you understand what it means to be RIGHTEOUS? As far as checking with God, I have. If forgiveness is not necessary, is there such a thing as guilt?

You see ghosts that are not there. You bring up issues that don't exist except in your mind. Fight hard to find something to keep from proving yourself wrong. You can run, however the truth always comes to the top. Do I believe in guilt? You will choose your guilt.

Feel free to tempt me all you want. That is part of our education, making choices. Your quote: God is not just some super intelligent being whose IQ is off the charts. My answer: I beg to differ with you. You have no idea. This is where experience holds the real answer. Your quote:He is perfect and His righteousness makes it impossible for anyone to be with Him unless they are made righteous. My answer: Are you now making rules for God?? Better check with Him. He might not like that. Of course, God never ever gets angry. He understands you, your life and everything involved. God is placing truth around you, however you can choose to be blind for now. Finally, forgiveness is not necessary unless it makes you feel better. God is Unconditional Love. Nothing is really needed from you for that.

God has never promised anyone anything. All that has happened it some men for political reasons have said what god says or wants or does because they wish people to believe that. IN fact nobody knows what happens when you die except that the atoms that make up your body go off and become something else. Nobody knows or has ever known any more than that so stop fooling yourself and live your life doing as much good as you reasonably can and as little harm as possible. Do that and you will have done the best you can so enjoy.

Very good answer. People who speak for God often are just speaking for themselves. Religion does want followers. Just like in politics, they will promise you anything. God doesn't come out and give us all the answers. God allows us to discover them for ourselves. Life is more than atoms. We are spiritual beings in our true natures. We are not these physical bodies we walk around in. They are our transportation for this physical world. I won't go into specifics, however I do have direct experience to this fact.
14 Jan 12
When people talk of spiritual experience what they are talking about is something happening in their brain. The human brain is an amazing organ and we do not understand what it is fully capable of. However there is nothing to suggest that anyones brain has any contact with some super being outside the earth that can influence our behavior. Other humans can certainly influence us and often do so which is what is happening on this forum. However to say things like "God allows us freedom to make our own decisions" etc is just a cope out because there is no such god and we make our decisions because we are human and have evolved to do just that.

Can't blame the brain on my experience. The reason is in the details. We are spiritual beings in our true natures, The connection to our physical bodies is made in the brain. If God exists, then God can be found. God can be found. Do not allow religion to corrupt your thinking about God. Religion does not Understand God. Your journey to discovery will take much work. There is much to understand or else your journey will end in confusion. In this time based causal universe, even God's actions can be seen. When you discover them then figure out how things really add up, you will start to see how God thinks. This will lead to more doors and more to learn and discover. Just like all the physics add up, so does the people factor. There are many more variables which makes things more complex but understanding can be done. True knowledge must be worked for in order to gain the wisdom that comes with the journey.

First of all, I would like to say that I don't believe in heaven. I just find it hard to believe that there is such a thing. For me heaven is the piece of candy religion keeps dangling in front of grown ups to make them feel comfortable because, honestly who is not afraid to die? If you did believe in heaven wouldn't it make sense to go as soon as possible? But if you ask religious people if they are willing to go to heaven now most of them would provide some alibi like, I haven't fulfilled gods mission for me yet etc. The thought of heaven, for me, also demeans the life you are living right now. It stops you from making the most out of your life as it is. I can't speak for the people who are suffering and down on their luck. But if I were them, I'd rather get a second chance here on earth than wait till my time is up and look forward to a heaven that I'm not sure about. Anyway that's just what I think Love and Peace everyone

haopee. Indeed, Heaven is used as a tool by religion to get followers. Life is important to live. It is the education of God's children. On the other hand, everyone will know God's unconditional Love at some point regardless of any beliefs or non beliefs one has.

@jhovarie To answer your first question, no I don't believe in any gods. I used to but not anymore. As for your second question, I believe that it all began because of the "Big Bang". As for the third question, of course I know there is a mylot developer because I have seen people make websites and I know that the internet is a construct of human beings. I don't really understand your fourth question though, but if I understand it correctly are you asking me what I think about when I see the world around me and if I think there is no creator? Then the answer would be that I perceive the world as a marvelous gem to behold, full of life, experiences waiting to be had, and people that you could spend time exchanging stories and ideas. As far as a creator is concerned I don't think he has anything to do with how the world formed. As for your last statement, I would like to ask you a simple question. How do you know all that? And secondly, How can you be so certain that what you believe in is entirely true? @bird I understand what you mean. Ultimately if one lives his or her life without harming or hindering another persons pleasures/decisions in life, a kind of mutual respect for his or her fellow man, then the world would live in harmony. Regardless of what one's belief system is, it should not take precedent over a persons own decisions and on what he believes in. A persons choice should not be influenced by any other person except him/herself. Have a nice day!

Spend some time everyday in a quiet place just to THINK. Make it quality time. There is guidance around you that you aren't aware of. Stand on your own two feet, thinking and making the best choices you can. In the end, you will attain great wisdom. Few things worthwhile in life come easy. It will take some work. You are intelligent. I believe in you. Reason it all out rather than allow your feelings to pull you in directions you really do not want to go. Everything about God and you does add up.

Well now, aren't you going to be surprised?? Sometimes the roughest road will end up with the best view. If you truly learned from your mistakes then the results will be good. People and religion teach that people should make no mistakes, however some things can never be learned without them. Could we be the people we are today without those screw ups??? I think not. Always look to the future. See where you can share your love and kindness. There is still time to help make this world a better place.

ucha14. Yes, everyone wants and prays to go to Heaven. You are right. Life is about living. learning, and growing here are Earth for now. No one should be running from that. Jhovarie. Did God really create mankind for the sole purpose to worship Him?? I think not. In spite of what your holy book says, you do not know God. Mankind is the one who wants to rule. God is beyond the petty things of mankind. God has much better ways.

praying to god is not enough to go to heaven mates because "god created human to worship him" god did not say he created human to pray only. in holy book say that if you worship god you go to heaven if you dont fallow so go to hell. still it says that if you worship god you go to heaven it doesn say that if you pray to god. worshiping is not only praying to god. worshiping is that obey all the command of god.

I would say Not Yet !!! After all what is Heaven or What exactly is Hell? Isn't all the conceptions within the folds of of our existence in this universe. HEAVEN or HELL ...it is all what you make it..You could very well make a heaven out of a hell ..or choose to make things worse and turn things into a sordid HELL. So it is what you make it here...a Heaven OR a Hell.

Heaven is literally, eternity with God. Those who have accepted God's gift of salvation through His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, will spend eternity with God; and as was pointed out in another discussion, those who receive God's gift of salvation late in life, will receive the same eternity as those who chose it early in their lives. Only you could describe Heaven totally wrong. If your description of conflict in Heaven is from some experience you've had, it wasn't Heaven. God has given us instructions on how to live a fruitful life here on earth. We can not work our way into Heaven, not through physical labor nor these lessons of adversity you say God has sent us. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2: 8-9 ESV

Hey,all you have to do is Believe them and you have the world. God wants His children to be able to THINK!!! not merely believe.

Hi bird: I think I need to ´prepare myself to go to heaven. I'm not good enough. I need to be a better person, to grow up spiritually. But regarding your question, heaven is a place of peace so you can apply the same logic, there won't be differences or discussions in heaven. We won't have these human issues when we go to heaven. With enough learning and understanding, free discussions would not change Heaven. Mankind needs to be at a higher level of thinking and understanding. God wants this for His children. Time and lessons will bring results. Still, God's Unconditional Love is needed along the way to show us that it has never ever been about punishment.

Honestly, i doubt heaven exists. I believe in parallel world. who knows. =) no one been to heaven before, and no one been to hell before. None of them came back to tell us about it. So you see, maybe, just like what you say, since mankind has their ego and everything, would they not make heaven into hell instead? That is my thinking. I believe that there is another dimension, whereby we all are the opposite of us, what we have here, they don't have it there, vice versa. =)

Yes, there are many dimensions along with an infinite number of universes. God is bigger than most can imagine. I wouldn't count on that other universe where you are getting everything opposite. It would serve no real purpose. Everything has purpose.

Heaven will be peaceful that is what God has promised us! Because God will give everyone what they actually need and desire. we have conflicts because everyone is fighting to get the best.. Not everyone can have everything in this world, so that is what the wars are about! but in Heaven we are granted our own special place.. Nobody will care about the other.. everyone will be in their own sweet mind!!.. That is what heaven is all about.. and its about pure, genuine, true people who deserve to be there and God is the good judge of that!! :) Yes, there is one Heaven here too.. If we be good, stay good and do good we can make heaven right here n earth.. but unfortunately we humans dont understand that..
