Sounds like Migranes. Glare and bright lights can trigger it. Migranes do not always cause any headache. Wavy lines in the vision or white out can happen. Aspirin and a dark quiet place helps. You probably need to see that doctor and get checked out. It's hard for all these internet doctors out here to always call it right. It's best to see a real doctor and be sure.

I would advice you to see a doctor. He will test your eyes in case you need eyeglasses or give you eyedrops so as to rest your eyes. You can also ask the Pharmacy to give you eyedrops, some mild ones, which do not need to be prescribed by a doctor. You should not just ignore this because it might leads to something more serious and give you headaches or more damage to your eyes.

yes. you need to rest your eyes. i had the same problem two years ago. and it was accompanied by dry eyes. where i can't move my eyeballs coz it hurt. went to a doctor and he ordered me to wear eyeglasses. not just any other glasses but he ordered me to wear computer glasses which is definitely costly. but it helped. i was also told to rest my eyes for 20 seconds every 20 minutes i spend in front of the computer.

How old are you? Do you see it in both eyes? Flashes of light may be experienced by a person if there is posterior detachment of vitreous as well as when there is traction on retina. So you should not waste any time and must consult with an ophthalmologist who has done a specialization in retina.

I also experienced that and I rest my eyes for a while so that it will be okay. I close my eyes. I can feel that my eyes is really resting and happy knowing that it has able to rest. I have read an article that we have to rest our eyes for 20 minutes when we are into the computer monitor for an hour.

I agree your eyes are most likely tired and strained and that is definitely a sign that it's time to give your eyes a break from the screen and get some sleep.
Be careful with excessive computer use especially if you are too close to it or need glasses, eyesight can be a fickle thing

I think that you should see an eye doctor especially if this continues. You have to prevent it from worsening. Rest your eyes every after 30 minutes.
