BCCI who are discussing abt removing V.V.S.Laxman from the Indian team, the reasons for this are his continuous poor showing in England's tour and now in Australia. If he has been dropped the innings he played yesterday will be his last test appearance. The sad part is its with playing against Australia that he got to a very fame and a very good position and form. But with the same opponent he is being scoring very low in single digits. If the BCCI is deciding to drop VVS my question is "is he the only person to be blamed for the teams poor showing?"

BCCI is also known for Bad decision in every department of cricket (like our government),Board already forget VVS is classic player that and how many times he saved team from critical and poor situation and specially against Aus. i really can't understand how they can decide to remove him after failing in only one series, why not Dhonnnni (worst performance without footwork, bad one for test cricket) I think BCCI wants new players in the team without any reason after removing VVS, I am fully doubtful on BCCI they might be also corrupted in cricket.

Hi, if the management wants to instill discipline among its employees, it often chooses to sacrifice the weakest link first (who may not be the worst employee mind you), namely the one without connections and one who doesn't create a ruckus about it in any forum. VVS qualifies as first in this regard. In my opinion, drop Dhoni first and make a person like Dravid or Viru the test captain. Ban families accompanying cricketers on tours. Things will change for the better a bit. Thanks.

I think it is again a stupid way of dealing of BCCI that such topics are being discussed via newspapers instead of within the selection panel. But I do think VVS has been exposed due to lack of movement on the fast pitches in Australia. It is a clear sign of age catching up to Laxman.
Cheers!

THis is too bad if BCCI want to not include vvs in the team then they must not choose instead of insulting him in public like this.Every one know who perform what in both Ebnglans and Austaalia tour. These bull-sh%t from BCCi is too bad they only just hink about money nothing else.

I read a very good article in cricinfo regarding the same Nigildas that VVs Laxman has totally looked out of sorts in one place where he loves to bat.. The person who rose to fame for his many exploits against the Aussies is now probably going to be losing his place for this poor series against them..
Though it is no way right to blame him only for the loss and the whole team must take the blame it has become clear from Dhoni's press conference that seniors will be phased out and it looks like Laxman would be the first to go.. Cheers

Only BCCI treats in such a way. If Laxman is blamed then why not our so called 'wall' and 'master blaster'. It seems like wall has became weak and master blaster is aging.
But if even Dravid doesnt secure a place in team, Sachin is gonna secure surely coz he is our so called legend.
Though Laxman has performed very poor then who has not??? Every body has performed poor.
