Hi!
We've been experiencing floods, too, recently. We don't experience flood before but there came a time when we started experiencing it but it was still okay then because it was not severe. Until the time came that the flood became terrible, it almost entered our house. We live near a lake and during strong typhoons, the lake (and the mountain) could not hold all the rainwater so flood occurs.
Still, we are lucky because there are places where homes are destroyed because of extreme floods.

We are accustomed to any disaster in Indonesia: earthquake, flood, landslide, tsunami and many more. If you live near the river or sea, watch out for the unexpected incidents. A couple of years ago, hundreds of houses in areas near rivers were terribly swept away by heavy flood. Some material loss was reported. This was just one of many other disasters overwhelming Indonesia. I have always asked myself questions why our country has always been stricken by such incidents. Who can we blame?

Singapore is freed from floods in the recent weeks after the rainy monsoon period has passed. Due to Global warming, singapore has been hit with lots of unexpected flooding including our famous orchard road stretch that costs almost million of damages. When it happened last year, they thought they have taken the necessary measures to prevent it from happening. HOwever, it's worse this year and now our "PUB" agency, has decided to name it "Ponding" instead of flooding. Isn't that ridiculous?

Yeah agreed. With those rains so heavy this couple weeks, flood hazards possibility is increasing every where.
Till now, my house still safe from it. Thanks God for that.
Hopefully, they who catch the flood can survive and manage to overcome this situation.
