What to buy

Hi I am planning to buy a digital camera for my daughter,can somebody suggest which brand is good and what specs to look for. my budget is $200.

Make sure you make a list of what you want just digital or DSLR , battery of dock charger, zoom or no zoom, small or large, I don't think brand matters really unless you were going to pay a fortune for one, colour might be a big factor for your daughter, if she has a favourite colour, I always wanted a purple one...

Hi thanks I want to buy a starter model now,once my daughter has learned all the tricks perhaps a higher end model then,regarding color,she likes purple and blue.

hi kram60! I would suggest the brands, sony or samsung. I believe they are the leading brand for digital cameras. I do not know how much it is there in your country but there are some cheap sony or samsung digital cameras. They are good in terms of quality. :)
