Shower Tile Scum

For the last couple of months, I have tried everything to get rid of the soap scum that is infesting my shower tiles. Nothing worked, until this afternoon. I was having a smoke in my bathroom and I looked over at the sink to see the Magic bubbles scrub free cleaner that I bought last weekend. I decided that it couldn't hurt so I decided to try it out. While I watched the scumm and the yellow color from our smoking, started to drip down the tile. Unfortunatley when I used a spounge to wipe it off, only the spots that sat for a while came clean. I then decided to try out the Mr. Clean magic erasers that I bought. I am so very happy to say that it worked. Now instead of the tan/yellowed tile that I used to have to see everyday, my tile is as white as the day I installed it. I am so happy to finally have found something that works cause for the longest time I thought I would have to replace the tile. Now that I tried it, I am happy to have found that the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work on everything. So have you ever used the Mr.Clean Magic erasers? Did you find that they worked? What did you use them on? I can't wait for my husband to get home so that he can see it too. LOL.

For me, Zonrox would always do the magic in my bathroom. I just spray a lot of it in the evening and rinse it in the morning. I hate the scrubbing part of cleaning so I usually have a scrubbing pad in my feet while I take a bath every morning. I would want to make sure that the dirt and other stain would not stick on the floor and the wall. Doing it everyday would lessen my job.

yes, just like you my friend, i am so fond of Zonroz in cleaning those hard to scrub or erase stains. Just like you, i would have it stay overnight where the stain is and the next morning scrub it a little and the stains goes away. Though it would be nice that i also get to buy that one too. I think, it's not here yet in the Philippines. Meantime, i will just use Zonrox.

Unfortunately I have done some research and I can't seem to find anyone that sells it where I am from. I am a little sad because it is awlays great finding new cleaners, especially if they work better than the one that I am currently using. Thank you both for taking the time to respond to my discussion. It is good to know that there are people on here who are always ready to lend a helping hand. Thanks again.

I was cleaning my kitchen tiles the other day and I used a noname tiles liquid supposedly to remove stubborn stains and cement marks. Nothing works to my satisfaction. Still it couldn't erase the stubborn marks and droplets of hardened cement from the tiles. I am thinking of changing the tiles as no amount of liquid cleanser could erase the stained.

I have stopped buying the no name cleaners as I have found that they don't EVER work the way that they are supposed to and most of the time I was ending up paying more than if I had just boughten the more expensive one in the first place. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my discussion. I am sorry that you haven't found anything that will work on your tile. It is never fun replacing time, not only does it take a lot of time, but it can also be costly. Good luck and happy mylotting.
