'Though it's not really that easy working in odesk as you need to bid for employers to select you. All you need to remember is that if your wife tried to work from home and she was asked to pay forget about it. She's the one that needs to be paid when she's given a job. Stuffing envelopes, etc. is a SCAM. They usually require a lot of money to get started and you get nothing back. I know as I tried that one yrs. ago. A person does need to be cautious when looking for something to do from home, as there are many Scams out there. Many promise pay but offer nothing in return. Not sure what you or your wife are really looking for, but I work from home besides working for someone and doing something that I can do both online and offline. Try Teletech and West at Home - both offer customer service jobs at home for companies like UPS or Home Depot. They only start you at around 10 per hour but at least you work from your house. Good luck

everybody would love to work at home and not have to leave and go to work everyday, it is hard to make money online but can be done. do some freelancing or blogging, i hear it pays well .also you can make money writing or blogging or writing articles here on mylot, squidoo.com, hubpages.com, bukisa.com. places like that. you just need to look around on the internet and find some good places. also it does not happen over night and will take a while to actually see some profits but dont get discouraged, keep writing and have faith. good luck.
