environment protection: if retail industry will be reduced..

Hi mylot, good to be back again, happy new year, my new year goal is to help in my own way to protect mother earth.I am now conscious with the way i do my groceries, i avoid to buy product which are in retail, like shampoo or coffee, chips. These products do contribute to the tons of garbage that we had everyday. I observe that retail industry is one of the biggest contributor that damage our environment. I believe if these will be reduced and we all be mindful of our purchases then in little way it will be a big help to protect this earth that we had for our future generation. I do shop with an environmentally friendly store which encourages to bring your own shopping bag to reduced the use of plastic bag. How about you my dear mylot friends do you have that kind of consciousness to help protect our mother earth?
